Welcome to the Charlotte Separatists.

Looking ahead, it's looking like FOR SURE, we're going to be doing midnight Episode III, come May 05. Other than that, there are no planned activites.

This is a problem.

Are there big movies coming out soon that more than two people from the FF want to go see?

Are there more than two people IN the Fan Force?

I really want to get the FF started up again, but for now, what we really need now, is a roll call.

alright 7 people!

so any word yet of camping out for ROTS? As i've stated before, in the age of advanced tickets and the internet... i had a blast camping out for Ep.1.

Just wondering what you guys thought?

 

If not for college and work, I'd do it.
But I can't miss either one.

 

I've looked into camping out, but I'm afraid I'm an old fart (I'll turn 33 before ROTS comes out) and not much into sleeping outside on a lounge chair. In fact, I'm hoping that this FanForce will do at least one meeting for a non-midnight showing of ROTS. We had several Old-Fart-Suitable-Hour meetings for AOTC showings.

I'd also suggest a game night (I have Star Wars Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, and Stratego) or a daytime meeting for a showing of the DVDs when they come out.

It's also been a long time since we just had dinner and talked about Star Wars.

 

I'm hoping to be in for the sitting outside! A friend of mine asked me to stand with him so I plan to do that on opening day (no overnight, hopefully) and even if the film stinks I'll still see it 42,000 times! It would be nice to see it with you lot as well.

Sorry I've been AWOL for so long... it has been a bad year for me. Been out of work for awhile and it's gotten me quite down. There's a lot of other stuff as well, but I'll spare you dear readers from that! At any rate, I'm trying to work back into something remotely resembling myself again...

Congrats to Anakin_Girl on going back to school and getting a house; congrats also to EagleIFilms on taking charge here! If anyone has had other cool stuff happen, congrats to you, too!

Hello all! I am new here and would love to be involved as much as I can. I work 7 days a week so my time is a bit limited but I'll see what I can do. I just really would like to communicate with other local Star Wars fans. Anyone here going to Celebration III? I will be going but it looks like I will be going alone. All my friends either don't want to go or can't afford to go. Well, hope to talk to you all soon...

 

Hello. I live in lancaster, SC, about 30 mins south of Charlotte. Me and a friend of mine plan on standing in line a day or so before the opening of ROTS. I wanna know if anybody else is planning on standing in line/camping out in charlotte at either AMC 22 or Regal at Stonecrest. Thanks.
