Hi Old but New

Hi all. I am a returning forum member who has been away for almost 15 years. So in a sense I am new. I got so disheartened by the Phantom Menace that I lost all hope for the future of Star Wars and just stopped caring about the franchise. Now that it is no longer in the hands of Lucas and his merry band of yes men I have regained some of that lost hope. I'm excited for the episode VII and the future of the franchise, especially the spin-off tales.

I can empathise with the being demoralised aspect but it's more to do with some people acting like their opinions are law. I hope you enjoy TFA.
