    Must....try....to.....move.....arms. Shoulders.....aching. Cannot....walk.....

Yeah, m_m, I know exactly how you feel. BTW, when you answer the phone from your wife (after the Vader Theme has played), you should say - "What is thy bidding, my master". They like that sort of stuff - trust me ;)

it was good to make the mini meet [mini-me pose] yesterday [/mini-me pose].

views from the (apparently) new oldie of the group-

sai_mera-saa: strong with the force. his ability to control the handball and frisbee were super human. also convinced everyone his real name was sai. may be the chosen one

shadowfire: 'happy being a queen.' cool and controlled. i have a feeling shadow is the master behind sai's training - i guess we'll see in the next episode. used mind control to let me know *not* to wait for the fuzzy green bouncy thermal detonator to land in my square before hitting it (only in the end did i understand...)

maul's menace: maybe i'm reading a little into it but imperial march dedicated to your wife (so if she calls, you're busted or something to that effect...?) also very good at handball - especially jumping the poisoned gaps

scream_man: *really* likes kit fisto toy (as well as all the rest) and was interested in helping others find what they were looking for :) dark side thoroughly enjoyed displacing jedienna from her handball spot (and gloatfully sent her to the bottom of the snake). evidentally didn't know about the 'fault' rule...

jedienna: evidently hit the hardest out of the group - especially if tamworth was mentioned. force powers provided superior handball control by changing trajectory and hovering mere millimeters above her hand. knows how to tell screamer to shhhhh!

maidenlumpé: by far the best handball player of the group. proud texan and enjoys ice cream. always managed to get open when playing ultimate. pointed out the padme figure on kiley's cd.

keith_katarn: not bad at frisbee (but who scored more goals :p ) thankfully provided cricket bat and soccer ball, though i think others not ready for these items, yet. knows lots of good movie quotes. admitted this was his first 'board' experience - liked the ability to choose *any* name he wanted to use (so he used keith...)

ender_sai: despite missing the fun (active) bits, still managed to hang out with us. provided important information regarding the plot to ruin ffnsw. not afraid to comment about tamworth (you will be...). finally got to discuss the rpg with k_k

slaveone_2: finally got his padme plaything with bouncy action. seemed to not quite figure out where the chain was supposed to go. slavely was the lightside to sai's darkside handball play. was able to meditate (ala qui gon) in his square then get someone out. why are they called squares if they are longer on the sides?

moses_of_the_sith: i know that wasn't his real name, but it fit. at least he showed up. he probably won't remember any of us but ender.

anyway, a good time was had by all. hopefully we'll all meet up with those who couldn't make it this weekend or ???

I have to admit the idea of my wifes theme being the imperial march has occoured to me as well.

I wanted Linda to walk down the aisle to it. She refused.

    Funny that...

Can I say at this point that when I got married in September last year, the song that escorted us into the reception from the wedding was the Star Wars Theme !! Everyone laughed themselves silly. Also a telegram was read out proclaiming me to be as smart as Yoda, and my wife as beautiful as Leia. (there was Simpsons fans there too.)

ironically, the haircut I got ended up looking only slightly better than a Romper Stomper one.

    yes i got it cut.
    short.
    very short.

It's maybe slightly longer than Shadowfires.

    ugh.

Man, I'm still "suffering" after this "mini-meet". I don't think I'll be able to throw a frisbee or ball again. I forgot about my stuffed shoulderand and now it is killing me.

    Damn, sports injuries!

Actually I must remember next time, that I do have a problem with my shoulder and not to throw so hard!

Your problem wasn't with throwing - as I recall it was with catching !! :)

And I believe it was the other way around for me ..... :(
