old user names

My original user name is tied to a long dead e-mail account, and I don't precisely remember the password. I read somewhere that someone in my situation could get my old name back. I'd like to get it back if that's possible. Is it?

If you can prove it's your account, probably by providing details only you would know, then PM a manager about it. If it is yours, then there shouldn't be any reason why they wouldn't give you the password.

 

No, don't PM a manager - they are of no use to you.

PM an admin (located that top of the page here) and tell them the username, the email account you think you used to register it, any rough passwords you might remember, and the ISP you were using at the time.
