OOC: Cemero, IF Osuka is shooting up from the ground to get to Zara, then he'd have to hit the ice,( it would capture him upon contact), you have ignored this. Zara has heat and flames around her, you are ignoring this as well in your post. We'll discuss more later.

 

OOC: Ignore my last post. I rushed and overlooked certain details. Sorry again I post early in the schools library so I tend to not focus on the post, but I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.


IC: OSUKA Arino

As the ice rapidly swallowed up his shadow clones, Genma evaded and made sure to stay out of contact with the ice. Osuka then held his fire blade over his head and thrust it into the ground. Opening up a small one man whole. He then began to tunnel his way deep underground so he could avoid the ice. A shadow clone then dove into the hole behind Osuka just before it got close. There were now two Osuka's left. Haru didn't waste time he knew the best way to assure he hit the right target was to hit every target.

As a hole opened up far away from the clones now frozen in ice, only one Osuka came shooting up fromt he hole. Flying high into the air after focusing chakra into his feet so he could gain height and avoid any of the ice. As Osuka came into the air, his Hizoku's eye saw the unseen attack that Zara would unleash onto Genma. Suddenly right in the path of Genma's charge shot up the second Osuka, diving in front of Genma and taking the blow from Zara's mystical power. The clone poofed away in mid air having taken a strong blow. Then Osuka floated into the air still, he needed to get rid of the ice in order to not limit himself. His next move was going to waste his fire blade but was nessecary. As he began to fall back to the ground he popped in a food pill, he then summoned a vast amount of chakra to the fire blade and it intesified. As he landed he stabbed his sword into the ice before he actually landed himself. The fire dispersed he moved the chakra in a channel. The fire was seemingly endless and began to melt all the ice in sight. In doing this however he lost the charge of the fire blade, however the flames continued out of the sword as if it was a open circuit for his chakra.

Finally the ice was gone, he then glared over at Haru. His chakra was a little low at the moment, even with his chakra from the food pill and the Arino clan's increased chakra the move was still draining. However he could already feel himself slowly regaining.

Haru & Zara vs. Osuka & Genma

Coliseum, Jungle Arena

Everything seemed to be happening so fast and all at once.

Haru could plainly see that nearly all Osuka's clones where immobilized, given the forest of ice pillars, yet, his iridescent eyes were unable to discern which one was the real Osuka. It seemed his new friend had cleverly distributed his chakra to better conceal himself from his discerning gaze. It was a clever ploy indeed, and it must be costing him in chakra as well. So, which one was the 'real' Osuka? was he trapped in one of the ice pillars?

There was small and sudden detonation several meters behind Haru as the ice field was breached from below.

Osuka! he must have tunnelled down to escape the ice... Haru realized this in an instant, but before he could focus on that, another detonation several meters above his head caught his attention. He looked up and rolled to one side, just narrowly missing being hit by Genma's twin sai. The Mist Village Shinobi craked the ice where he'd landed, and his two handed attack tore a portion of Haru's top. Fortunately for him, he'd forced Haru to release control of his ice prison technique.

Haru came out of the roll and shouted: "Ice Style: Tsunabe Blizzard!" Just as Genma shouted; Ninja Art: Blade Spark!"

Genma struck his Sai together and made a slashing motion that sent a crackling spark of energy at Haru, but this attack simply collided with the snow ninja's Tsunabe blizzard. Haru's plethora of ice darts exploded on contact with the blade spark and both attacks immediately cancelled each other out.

Before any of the two could act again, the ice field buckled and cracked as streaks of fire ran through them creating fissures and melting the ice in a manner of moments. Both Haru and Genma jumped on different statues to escape Osuka's fiery decimation of the ice field.

"No more icicle tricks..." Genma commented from the statue he was standing on. Haru did not respond as he met Osuka's eyes and simply began to pulse with light. He found it interesting that they'd both paused to regain some chakra. Even still, Haru did and said nothing for the moment, drawing the other two shinobi's attention. They were so focused on him, they forgot all about Zara.

Haru was counting on that. Such typical attitudes of superiority were often the downfall of many who proclaimed themselves strong. The maxim always proved itself right. This time, it would be no different.

Envy?s child-like eyes widened in surprise at the speed at which the brute had grabbed his throat. The chimeras behind them inched forward but did not attack without Envy?s command. Again, that haunting, toothy smile spread across the child?s face. ?So, you say you?re a monster, eh?? she rasped, trying to speak as his hand pressed into her throat.

In a quick metamorphosis, the girl?s once blade-like arm transformed into a large snake which quickly wound up and around his arm, hissing loudly and opening its mouth, fangs dripping with venom, as it prepared to strike.

?Well guess what? So am I.?

Unknown Location

"You can't be serious," Logan muttered alarmingly as his eyes widened, unclenching his grip around the creature's throat and stepping back a few feet, staring into the eyes of the hungry serpent.

With his free hand, he unsheathed his adamantium claws, feeling the blades slide across the flesh of his knuckles. This was going to hurt, but only for a few seconds. As quickly as he could, Logan reached over and stabbed his claws into the body of the snake and through his left forearm, and grimaced.

Narrowing his eyes, partly in pain and partly in curiosity that this man was so willing to free himself that he?d stab his own arm, the smile faded from Envy?s face.

IC: Osuka Arino



Quickly Osuka began to rack his brain. He needed to get close enough to Haru and test out his taijutstu before he and Genma could get serious. He quickly made handsigns but the effect was unseen. It was the hand signs that went with the shadow clone jutsu. To Haru and Zara it would seem as if nothing happened at all however Osuka had two shadow clones in existence, concealed but in existence he put his sword into its sheath. His searched his pale Genma, still not a single trace of foul chakra as he battled with Haru. Nobody could mask chakra even while fighting not unless they were of noble blood as Osuka and Haru.

His chakra had nearly regained itself enough to continue. HE made the tiger handsign and suddenly poofed away. He the appeared directly behind Haru almost forgetting entirely about Zara's location. He was crouched and swun a low kick at his ankles shouting, " So much for those eyes of yours" He said believing he'd caught him off gaurd.

Still hidden were Osuka's two clones,luckily he masked their chakra just as he created them so he didn't lose the element of suprise if needed.

Zara
Coliseum, Jungle Arena

Zara floated above the arena watching the warriors fight. Between the icy field, and her firey air, it was making for quite a barraiage weather wise. And she was learning something about these warriors. They were kinda of like what her people would call illusionist. They used misdirection, and illuisons in order to trick their opponents into attacking the wrong targets.

Zara smiled at that. Quite interesting indeed. The one called Osuka..the one she had been battling eariler had gone under the ice. And what of his strange illusions had jumped in front of her attack of the stranger. No matter. Her spell still stood strong, and she could still use it. It unlike the ..clone.. is that what they called them, held alot more substance. But the others attack did seem to have broken the concentration on the Haru making ice.

So this one played with fire? She smiled briefly, but it was wipped away when she saw Osuka appear behind Haru. Guess their standards on back attacks were diffrent than hers, she mused. She was not worried, she instead concentrated on Genma. Again she moved her magical fist attack, this time bringing it down from above the one called Genma. Meanwhile, she decided to see how well they could see, and cast two spells. Illusion and invisibility. The Illusion was that she remained as she was, floating above the ring. Now invisible, she teleported to a new position over the field. She began to swing her sword, as she prepared for her next attack.

Logan couldn't understand what was going on. For one, he couldn't remember how he'd gotten to where he was, and two, he was looking at a tiny girl who had a snake for an arm, and three multi-headed beasts preparing to attack behind him. Was this some kind of trick from Scott? Had he put him in the Danger Room without his consent? No, he wasn't that good. This felt too real to be a training exercise.

"My name doesn't matter," Logan said, his claws at his sides as the pierced flesh of his left forearm healed itself. "Who sent you?"

?Who sent me?? Envy asked as its arm returned to him and he quickly morphed into his preferred attractive, almost gender-neutral form, his voice undulating to a deeper yet still unisex voice. ?That?s a rather odd question considering it?s YOU that?s skulking around in OUR domain. You?re definitely not human and those regenerative powers seem greater than anything a Chimera would possess. I?ll ask you again, are you a Homunculus? If you are, you certainly aren?t one of Father?s? at least, none that I?ve ever seen and with those claws you can?t be a new Greed??

OOC: Cemero, Haru is standing on top of a statue. I highly doubt there's enough surface area for Osuka to crouch and take the action you intended, uless they were both on the ground.

Haru & Zara vs. Osuka & Genma

Coliseum, Jungle Arena


The battle within the jungle Arena continued with renewed impetus. Haru watched Osuka perform a hand-sign and just knew that he was up to something tricky. Haru was ready, and when Osuka suddenly did the body flicker technique, the snow shinobi was not surprised to sense and hear him reappear behind him. Osuka was being a bit reckless, given the lack of purchase atop the statue. The sand ninja managed a low kick just the same.

"So much for those eyes of yours." Osuka said, believing that he'd caught Haru by surprise, but the snow ninja was already flipping overhead. Haru delivered a quick chop to the base of Osuka's neck with the purpose of stunning him, then grabbed him from behind as he pitched backwards, seemlessly going into a spiraling head drop. In the span of a heartbeart, Osuka's head would be impacting with great force against the hard ground.

Seeing what was developing, Genma did not hesitate as he quickly rushed to aid Osuka. He let a trio of shuriken fly towards the pair, but his singular focus came at a great price.

Something unseen by Genma struck him from above. Hard! With a loud groan, the mist village shinobi crashed to the ground unceremoniously under the force of the impact, dust lifting all aroud him. After a moment passed, Genma still lay there on the ground, unmoving.

OOC: This time intended to be remiss. Since Osuka had for the moment become a little one tracked.
IC: OSUKA, Genma

As he was being rushed to the ground he noticed Genma in trouble. His sight saw the same hidden attack, Zara scorned Osuka for his deception, but she all the same employed similar tactics.
As Genma was seeming beaten to the ground suddenly, it was Osuka's clone that had taken the blow. His first clones quickly used a replacement jutsu to get Genma out of the way. Then , CRASH! HAru slammed Osuka into the ground head first, suddenly Genma poofed away. It was another substitution jutsu. All along the Osuka in plain view was a clone the real Osuka had been in hiding. He suddenly poofed into the center of the arena with Genma beside him. Osuka turned to Genma, "Watch out for her, she's unleashing unseen attacks on you. Now then, what do you say we start working this as a team," Osuka said with a scheming smile. He then pulled out a food pill, but this time it was a different color. It was a blue pill, he swallowed it and felt chakra surging. This kind of pill was exclusive to the Arino clan. Intended to open chakra wider so that more chakra could circulate.


He then began a dizzying series of hand signs, Genma soon did the same. Suddenly Osuka threw his right arm down and put his left hand against his right arm. Chakra began to swell into his palm.

Logan took yet another step back as what was once a small, innocent little girl with a flower dress and pigtails transformed into an adult (whether or not it was man or woman, Logan could not decide) with unpleasantly long dreadlocks right before his eyes. He'd seen an ability like that before, but Mystique would have recognized him. And he doubted she could willingly create a snake out of just her arm.

Logan clenched his fists, claws out and ready to strike. "I'm an X-Man," he growled. "And you're dead." And with that, Wolverine threw a quick punch towards his opponent's face. He'd try to keep... it alive to get answers, but he wouldn't hesitate to kill it if such an act was necessary.

?An X-man??

Before he could even take the time to comprehend WHAT exactly an ?X-man? was, Envy found a three-clawed fist quickly flying towards his face.

?Whoah, you?re a feisty little squirt, aren?t you?? The Homunculus teased, lithely bending backwards out of the way of the blow, placing his hands on the ground and springing backwards a good distance, all the while managing to stay just below the claws reach. ?You seem like you?re ready to really get into it, but I don?t know? I don?t really enjoy fighting. Especially with? inferior creatures. Oh, I know!?

Taking two fingers to his mouth, Envy let out a shrill whistle that echoed in the tunnels. The ears of the three Chimeras each perked up before the group charged forward in unison, saliva dripping from their jaws.

When Broly stepped out, filling his stomach with the foods in front of him, he stepped out.

Only to be greeted by the entire governing body of this village, the chieftan at the head/

"What is all this?" he asked to the chieftan.

Haru & Zara vs. Osuka & Genma

Coliseum, Jungle Arena

Haru came out of the spriraling head drop and saw that the Osuka he'd been fighting was infact, a clone. He lept back up upon the statue and saw 'an' Osuka rushed to join a dirty looking Genma. Whatever happend, he'd missed it while dealing with Osuka, but by the crack across the Anbu face mask, it must have been impressive.

The Snow Shinobi carefully observed his two adversaries. Osuka popped something in his mouth, again. Some kind of revitilizing agent, Haru guessed. He also read his lips as he spoke from a distance.

"Watch out for her, she's unleashing unseen attacks on you. Now then, what do you say we start working this as a team."

"No kidding..." Genma answered in humorless annoyance. "I'd give a king's ransom to have Byakugan or Sharingan right about now..." he added with little myrth. "Yeah, let's finish this." he said, the cocky smirk now slowly returning.

Haru watched with prismatic eyes as they both performed handsigns. Osuka put his arm down and began concentrating an enourmous amount of chakra. Next to him, Genma shouted; "Water Style jutsu: Whirling Water Funnel!"

The melted ice on the ground surged upward at Genma's command, and formed a towering and twisting column of water close to ten meters in height. Haru looked up at Zara above him and then at the battle field again. His eyes caught something new. Haru hid a smirk and sent a message via ventriloquism, then began to do a few hands signs himself.

Upon confirmation, his face mirrored the confidence both Genma and Osuka evinced. From Osuka's pose, he could guess what he was up to. So, it seemed everyone had a plan. Things were about to get very interesting indeed, if not a bit messy.

Unknown location

After filling his stomach with the foods in front of him, Broly he stepped out.

Only to be greeted by the entire governing body of this village, the chieftan at the Elders.

"What is all this?" he asked to the chieftan.

"Greetings, stranger and welcome to our Village." The cheiftan said, his hand waving about the humble village. You seem like a very powerful warrior and we come to ask a boon of you. Our village is beset by a terrible monster. Many of our warriors have gone to deal with the problem, but have not returned. We ask that you aid us in our hour of need, and should you succeed....."

The chieftain waved and people moved to one side. After a moment, a beautiful young maiden with long raven hair and a beautiful face came to stand next to him. She never looked up as she was young and shy.

"I shall offer the hand of my daughter in marriage. What do you say stranger...?"

Everyone grew silent as they awaited an answer from Broly.

Wolverine cursed under his breath as the beasts were, once again, prepared to turn his entrails into extrails. He looked into the human looking creature's eyes intently for a moment, trying to see what he was thinking. He obviously had some sort of control over the beasts, so he was definitely from these parts. Wolverine needed answers.

But first, he turned to observe the three large drooling creatures, hungry for a taste of his bones. Unfortunately for them, they weren't exactly soft.

Each of the three Chimeras latched onto the unmoving human being, their razor-sharp fangs tearing through flesh as they tried to bite through to the bone. Only, as they did, their teeth would progress no further, as if they were trying to chew threw metal. And thus they stood, one on his arm, one on his upper thigh and one on his calf, gnawing and chewing away as they tried in vain to break his bones.

All the while, Envy stood with upraised eyebrow as he watched the Chimeras struggle. This?thing?s bones were apparently very strong. Still, even if the Chimeras were having trouble, even if this thing could regenerate, he would see it in pieces in the end.

The pain was excessive. Too much of it, Wolverine deemed, than necessary. And those pesky little runts showed no signs of stopping, even if they couldn't pierce the adamantium. So Wolverine swung the one on his arm away, stabbed the one on his thigh in the back, and stomped on the one hanging on his calf.

Their whimpers weren't as loud as he was hoping.

Envy wrinkled his nose as he watched the ?battle.? He expected, after the door guards were unable to snap his bones, that the ?human? would make quick work of them. Hardly. He stabbed one on the back and stomped another, which managed to dislodge it and a few of its teeth in the process. Still they were not defeated and quickly went back on the attack.

All the while, the Homunculus stood and waited, biding his time and observing with arms crossed over his chest.

Wolverine sat back and waited for one of the pups to make their move, and a mere couple of seconds later, one did. The beast leaped at the regenerative Mutant with seemingly all its might, ready to bite off a piece of his face, but Wolverine simply side-stepped the attack and slashed downwards at his enemy as it flew past him. It fell to the ground, no longer whole.

Wolverine inhaled the scent of blood as it trickled from each opening of the demented hound behind him. There were two of these rats left, and they both attacked at once. Wolverine managed to dodge the first one, but the second latched onto his arm with its teeth, and ferociously began to chew through the skin. The Mutant, merely wincing slightly at the pain that he'd grown accustomed to throughout the course of his life, yanked the dog off with his free hand, and began to stab it repeatedly with the claws on his other, until he was satisfied and the body of the pup was completely limp. He then tossed it to the side like a smelly piece of garbage.

The third and final beast circled Wolverine, growling, fire in his eyes. Wolverine stared back, until it finally leaped towards him like its two brothers did before. But this time, Wolverine caught the dog, grabbed its back paws with his right hand and its front paws with his left. He held the struggling mutt out before him, and then pulled his arms away from each other, and felt the crack of the beast's spine as it howled in pain. He then brought it down hard on his rising knee, and slammed it down onto the concrete ground below. And then he proceeded to stomp on its squirming head, releasing the final trickle of life from its body.

Flinging blood from the earlier two mutts off his claws, Wolverine turned to the shape-shifter, hungry for more. "Want some?"

Envy smirked, arms still crossed, as he watched the Chimeras fall one by one and the bloodlust begin to rise in his short opponent. Humans were such easily provoked creatures. ?You must have an incredibly short memory, X-Man. I?ve already said once that I don?t care for fighting, though, you are more than welcome to come at me if you like.?

Broly
Unknown Location

"Although you're offer is generous, I must respectively decline," Broly responded to the Chieftan's plea.

"But I'll still defeat your monster. I want to test my fighting skills. Where is it anyway?"

The chieftan waved a hand an a youngman stepped forward, holding his head high and proud.

"Raincloud will show you."

"It's an honor Chief Skywalker..." The young boy said.

Without delay, the boy took Broly on a path away from the village that led to the a forested area. The closer they got the quieter everything seemed to get, not to mention Raincloud began to act nervous, but deaspite this, he kept on going in silence. Soon, they passed through a dense area, where evidence of recent battles could be seen. Moments after, they come out to a small clearing that revealed a sheer cliff face and a cave entrance no more than 30 meters away.

"It...it...lives .....in there..." raincloud stammered nervously.

Raincloud could not sense what Broly was sensing. The creature seemed to posses a huge amount of ki, that he could sense it even from outside the cave, or perhaps it was that Broly was simply that sensitive. The particulars were irrelevant at the moment, for the end result was the same. Broly could pin point the creature's position.

"May the Great Spirit protect you..." Raincloud whispered to Broly as he began to back away, then finally turned and fled away running.

Now Broly was alone in the clearing. The forest was behind him and the mouth of the cave infront. There was not a sound in the forest, but only the subtle pulse of their Ki.
