Nice Idea, you beat me to it. I was going to post a couple of Star Wars cartoons at the weekend, but ran out of time.

Unfortunately, the AngleFire server these are on doesn't allow these links to work, PLUS the images (when I copy/paste the link) seem to be in ".art" format which is AOL software only.

Ok, I managed to view them by right clicking on the links, selecting properties, highlighting the url and crt-c to copy it, then pasting it in the address field.

Nope, I tried the copy/paste trick yesterday with no luck. It's because their in ".art" (AOL only) format that they don't work - even going to the main website none of the ".art" images display.

Yep, I found those a little while back, I think the link was in the Force.Net news boz at the bottom of these pages. There's about 24 of them in total, some better than others.


If you want short cartoon movies got to Star Wars Spoofs - there's seven (so far) great little Flash movies there (all are less then 300k in size, most less than 200K).

 

I love those. My favourite is tickle-me-luke.

 

Fun! The Geonosis is the best IMO. But Naboo and Endor didn't work...

Btw, Kitt, who is "Tristan"? He's got those SW-y posters plastered all over uni! [face_shocked]

 

Most of them are quite good and very well drawn, but I think I like Bespin or Dagobah best - "R2, let him have it" <POW!>.

The person making them hasn't finished the Naboo, Endor and Kamino ones yet - that's why they don't work.

Tristan is a guy running for Executive Vice President in the AUSA Student Elections.

Some of the posters are quite good, I like the Palpy one.

 

DOH!! I just went back a found Kamino has been done now - when Obi-Wan tripped up the Clone Trooper I was expecting a domino toppling scene with the falling clone troopers all form a huge pattern.


Naboo and Endor haven't been finished yet though.

 

I thought the Kamino one was pretty cool. It's a homage to the Stormtrooper who bumped his head in ANH.
