9, Everything else was great, but the ending was too slow and there was no Saruman.
I know. I also think it needed GrÃma.
9. It was a little slow in places, and suffered from the lack of Christopher Lee.
Great film in all other respects, though
9 because I'm a bit disappointed... they didn't show or didn't put in the movie, some real important things that are in the book.
10. I truely believe if they had released these movies before filming the Prequel Trilogy, that the Prequel Trilogy would have been better.
The ending was too rushed.
The movie was awesome and I really enjoyed it..but it doesn't get a ten from me because it was (and the entire trilogy for that matter) just to darn long. I gave it a nine.
Wait can't vote that high.
ten, i realy loved it. i saw it on sunday, i want to see it again really soon
I gave it a 9. Great movie, by far the best in the LOTR trilogy.
a solid 9, no christopher lee, and a far too drawn out ending cost it a 10
I gave it a 9 because the ending was corny and there wasn't enough Legolas. (the latter part is the big reason though)
I'd give it a 9. No Christopher Lee, Aragorn's big speech lacking punch and an anti-climatic battle at the black gate keep it from a perfect 10.
...there wasn't enough Legolas. (the latter part is the big reason though)
Finally, someone agrees with me on that!!!!
9. I'm waiting for the EE, if they include major things they left out, then it'll get a 10, but it cut too much and was too short for my liking.
Can I go higher?
I voted 10
Tis' the season to get a Red Ryder BB Gun! fa la la la la la la la la...
9, I guess. I'm really not a fan and I don't fall for the hype, and trying to read the first book was a chore. But this movie was a good. The only thing that annoyed me was the scene when Frodo was going to destroy the ring. That crawled a little too much.
Hands down, 10.
This was the best of the three. Cenematiclly, story wise. and the musical score by Howard Shore was absolutly fantastic.
I rate this movie as a 10
1. The LoTR sucks.
when they come for me ill be sitting on my desk, with a gun in my hand wearing a bullet proof vest singing "my my my how the time does fly when you kno ur gonna die by the end of the night"
Okay, buddy. Go back to where you came from, or at least give us a reason it "sucked."
I'd rather a few things that were cut, kept in the movie, but they didn't make it any worse.
This is how epic movies should be made.
The ending was a little long for my tastes, but they kept them decent enough. The ending had to be done the way it was, no question.
I rated it a 9.
Excellent in many ways, but changes to the Crack of Doom scene really bothered me.
Gets a 6 from me.
