Is their any example of a speeder with a built in artificial intelligence that you can talk to as you drive. Has that showed up in canon?
It's not canon, but Vilmarh "Villie" Grahrk's ship Inferno had a built in artificial intelligence that he could converse with.
The Boba Fett comic Salvage had him issuing orders to Slave I while he was away from the ship. The ship also initiated a conversation when it detected a dangerous situation.
Non-droid AI's are pretty uncommon in the GFFA. Dooku had a pilot droid for his sloop. Vader has a modified probe droid as his assistant pilot in the new comic series. The Separatist droid starfighters were droids themselves.
They must have some serious programming lockdowns to keep droid brains inside ships from taking over the ships.
The YA Galaxy of Fear book The Doomsday Ship had a plot where SIM, disguised as a simple shipboard AI, was actually an Imperial designed infiltration program that could take over a ship.
In Republic Commando the RAS Prosecutor had a computer who would broadcast the ship's status over the speakers. I'm not sure if it was intelligent, though.
Everyone forget the Dark Force? Also, mole mining colony pilot asks for slave code for the Falcon Also the homing beacon from the Bpfash Dark Jedi on Dagobah.
This is the only one I can think of....http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kierra ....but it is a ship and not a speeder. She actually interacted had a personality and had conversations.
