Anakin whines "It's not fair!" about Ki-Adi Mundi then meets an obscure sect of Jedi who are allowed to marry; his journey towards hating the Council is almost complete.

Why oh why couldn't he have played the disappearing woman act on Daala?

(Also off the record and not part of the game -- I never read No Prisoners and totally forgot it ever existed. It sounds utterly ridiculous based on the 1-liners so far. Whether this is the good sort of "utterly ridiculous" or the bad sort is well, your guess better than mine.)

I liked it- mostly for Pellaeon and Callista though.

I didn't like it nearly as much as the other Clone Wars tie-ins, whatever that tells you.

The best scenes of the book involved Anakin being afraid Padme would shoot him if he snuck up on her, and Anakin making Padme laugh in order to break her facial mud mask.

Pellaeon tells Ahsoka to put some damn clothes on, while the bad guys do, in fact, take prisoners.

Despite the fact that Rex shows no Mandalorian influence, this is still definitely a Traviss book because we see Anakin, Pellaeon, Callista, and Coric degrade the Jedi Order.

Edit: That was for Gambit, nevermind.

Basically he says it's not appropriate for her to be showing her belly and legs (because in Traviss' books Ahsoka only wears the miniskirt, not the white tights) on a military ship. He gives her a jumpsuit and tells her to go change and then asks Rex if Skywalker thinks he runs a cruise line. Rex has to seal his helmet and laugh.

There's a difference between culture and teenage "fashion sense". As Shaak Ti shows, not every Togruta (let alone Jedi Togruta) wear revealing outfits. In fact, I believe that Ahsoka is the only Togruta Jedi ever shown to wear a less-than-completely-covering outfit. Oh, except Shaak Ti's Felucian outfit.

The Karen Traviss book no one remembers because it didn't really offend anybody, which really ought to be memorable in itself.

Not to ruin the one-liner but she does show up in 501st working for Djinn Altis and probably would have kept appearing since the Skirta Clan and Altis Jedi were joining forces.

She had to show up at some point to get a leg over so Myrn eventually shows up...but Traviss' Pelly is a love 'em and leave 'em type so not surprising.

Also, Palpatine wants her dead, so that's a good incentive to vanish.

    ETA: fixed the 501st comment

In love as in war...Pelly constantly retreats.

ETA: Amusingly, it's easy to read Pelly as only thinking/acting he's suave with the ladies. His track record is a marriage we don't know much about and Davis...and maybe one other since he's not sure about Vitor.

Ahsoka could be following another togruta cultural patch then Shaak Ti or are you saying that there is only one togruta culture?
