Pellaeon strikes back, just like he said two books ago, and Zonama Sekot disguises itself as Vergere and kiddie Anakin Skywalker just to mess with Jacen and Luke.

With four times as many votes as the next runner up, tal0nkarrde wins the round. Force Heretic may not exactly have set the world on fire, but I'm sure this round will be plenty interesting...

Note: if your entry is some variation on "the place where the EU should have ended", you are boring and I will roll my eyes at you.

Oh, and just to beat everyone to the joke:

The book from back when CD-ROMs were still something to brag about.

The unifying force for the EU after the trying times that were the NJO, that ended up being ignored by Del Rey in subsequent books for no reason.

Judder Page and Pash Cracken spend 500 pages kicking ass and chewing bubblegum... and they were all out of bubble gum.

Since the beginning of this series Darkness has thrived in Omi (and others), but always yields to purifying light. Also redemption and cool battles and the stage is set for a brand new era of the EU.

James Luceno completes a level of redemption unseen since Luke Skywalker said no to Darth Sidious all those years ago, transforming a nineteen book arc which divided a twenty-odd year old fandom like no other single event before, into a testament as to how a conclusion should really be written, and, like Jacen Solo within this same book, Star Wars has never reached such heights again, and we lament forever more.

The conclusion no one saw coming and, even more impressively, everyone liked!

The war ends, the Vong are redeemed and a galaxy-shattering revelation shakes the Force, which will then be ignored completely by Del Ray so they can write bug people.

The only book nineteen I've ever read!
    (Well, the bible...but it's books aren't numbered like that...soo...)

It just felt like it wasn't an ending worth the buildup of the previous books...which was probably more the fault of how muddled the aims of some of the price ions books were.
Honestly, I don't really remember specifics, I read the series a couple years ago, but I just remember not being impressed through most of it, and ending with a "glad that's over" feeling....until I realized I had Legacy of the Force and its terrible "Sacrifice" to look forward to...

Edit: if I recall, though, I think I enjoyed the Force Heretic trilogy for the most part...

The last half of the New Jedi Order saga, compressed into a single "finale" for some reason.
