The Sith 'rule of two' has been completely scrapped and a dude that should have been dead for a hundred years takes control of the galaxy, but at least Cade Skywalker is slightly more mature than his ancestor Anakin.

Legacy: Rehash of the saga, badly done, with a druggie Skywalker, where nothing the OT characters did actually matters, they are all dead, but a guy from the CLONE WARS rules the galaxy when not napping; also, druggie Skywalker.

    Reminder: summary =/= review.

Also: @Nick, your presence is requested.

That was a summary. Negatively tinged, but I did summarize it. "Rehash of the Saga where nothing the OT characters did matters, they are dead, and yet a guy from the Clone Wars rules the galaxy" and mentions of Druggie Skywalker sum up legacy pretty completely.

In The Future, the galaxy will be a dark place, the heroes gritty, unwilling or blue, the Sith One, the Jedi in distress, and Artoo still around to save the day.

Yippee! I have been waiting for Legacy. :D

Gar Stazi's forces, striking from their hidden base, liberate the galaxy and avenge the loss of the greatest EU character ever, Admiral Nict, while some dude named Cade, a Freaking Sweet Hat, and Imperials with white streaked hair have side adventures.

Didn't you hear Randy? The hat in Legacy isn't The Hat. It's R-Canon. [face_not_talking]

That was as much for Zor as it was for you. :p

My summary was just a mirror image of the Ruins of Dantooine summaries. :p

The series that logically picks up where the NJO logically left off with the One Sith, Galactic Empire in Exile, Galactic Alliance and Jedi duking it out in a battle royale while one Skywalker refuses to save the galaxy only to help them when the Sith won't leave him alone, also, some new characters for a new era

In the not so far future of the Star Wars galaxy; there is only an @$$hole Skywalker, a horribly inept (though SHOCCKINGLY popular) alien admiral and Sith, and rehashing every Rouge Squadron/OTL era book with out the likeable characters, oh and remember the Princess from the first arc and the idea that it is a gray Empire fighting the evil Sith? No, good cause neither do the authors.

The last Skywalker learns that the Force will not take no for an answer, a fallen hero regress back to his old habit of constantly hiding his face, and the wearer of the Freaking Sweet Hat continues to have lunch dates with death and part on friendly terms, promising to see him again the same time next week, all while a Duros admiral tries to get along with a jerk Emperor in an effort to save the galaxy from the Sith.

The future of Star Wars where - no, it's not that one, it's the other Legacy - where the Skywalker family once aga... NO IT'S NOT THAT LEGACY, STOP CONFUSING THE TWO!

This is something that I really don't get. Why do people think Roan is a jerk but not Stazi?

Roan never tried to stab an unarmed ambassador, or fired on his allies ships in the middle of a battle.

Because Obi-Wan has a bad habit of not killing people he's dueled, the Sith are more powerful than ever, the galaxy has once again plunged into all out war, the Jedi Order has once again been fragmented, a Skywalker has once again donned black pants and a black longcoat, and the Mandalorians have once again retreated to their own worlds in a state of neutrality.

True, but Roan did execute the entire crew of a captured Star Destroyer, wanted to use the Murr Talisman, and tried to kill everyone on Coruscant just to defeat the Sith. In comparison, Stazi is a fluffy bunny.

The Emperor steals the Galactic Alliance's capital, the Sith steal the Emperor's throne, and the last Skywalker steals Vader's pants.

An enemy crew that had just participated in an attempt to kill him. You win wars by killing enemy soldiers, something that Stazi seems to not get at all. He saw the Murr as a weapon, something to fight the Sith. I don't think Roan knew exactly what it was; it's difficult to put into words. I don't know if he was; 1. NOT Sith-poisoned or otherwise interfered with by metal face (don't remember his name). 2. One planet or the galaxy? One City or a nation?

I'll stop now, maybe we should go to the Legacy thread.

In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war... and Sith... and Jedi... and an Empire... and pretty much everything we've always had, including that tree with boobs.

In a sweeping and inspirational tale of good's triumph in the neverending fight against evil, Luke's great-great-grandson eventually saves the galaxy from that one hero Quin replaced in Republic a hundred fifty years ago and his tribe of terribly-named Sith, because those Sith were really getting in the way of his ability to get high with his friends.

Bonus description for Neo-Legacy: A young girl's strange, erotic journey from Milagro to Mrisst.

Come on, that joke's still good.

Cade Skywalker brings sexy back in the form of Darth Vader's pants and possible Zeltron Skywalker babies while a new IWoD decides which guy she should pick to help her remove her power hungry insane father from power along with a Sith who just won't die.

My review of Legacy: Jedi can't get the job done, so the Empire creates this new Order known as Imperial Knights, Gray Jedi wearing Imperial Guard armor and carrying white lightsabers...

A pretty good comic-book series that has somehow become the roadmap for the entire EU, the reality of which is becoming less and less likely as the 'authors that are' (I'm looking at you Denning) keep adding ridiculous jumps in time between books; Ben had better hurry up and have kids!
