If you like ships, the first 80% of Dark Empire is for you, if you don't like ships, you can at least see how awesome Han is, such as his taste in choosing names, as if he and Leia had named their third child Han Solo Junior like he had wanted, people wouldn't have gotten confused between Anakin Skywalker and Anakin Solo years later, not to mention saddling their kid with plenty of extra issues about his grandfather, and Han got to shoot the Emperor and killed him (it wasn't a permanent death, but close enough), showing how they should deal with most darksiders and they beat up Boba Fett a few more times and it turns out the Falcon is compatible with steampunk technology too.

I'm tempted to add something else (so much material to cover), but that'd be against the rules, and Havac's brilliant response will blow it out of the water anyway (as it should).

If you want to see a New Republic Star Destroyer crashing on Coruscant, Luke facing a Force Storm and kneeling before the Emperor, Han and Leia outrunning Boba Fett on Nar Shaddaa and infiltrating the Reborn Emperor's creepy throne world deep in the Galactic Core, Artoo destroying a planet and the biggest Star Destroyer ever, the Millennium Falcon getting steampunk add-ons, and Dac getting ravaged by giant self-replicating World Devastators, read this book.

Well, everyone knows Palpatine died at Endor; what this book presupposes is . . . maybe he didn't?

It's just a Royal Tenenbaums reference. I said I already had it, not that it would cause widespread riotous laughter.

For all those who thought TOR should be flogged for using technology that is still used over three thousand years later and for having the descendants of the main character still taking centre stage, this is the book that started it all, with impossibly old grand daughters and the same archaic technology even older than TOR still being used years after ROTJ, oh and there's a talking tree.

An entire comic series is painted with mucus on newsprint and for some reason people tolerate it, setting a trend that will one day allow monsters like Scott Hepburn and Paul Gulacy to commit their crimes against humanity in our universe.

Episode 7, Luke goes 'dark', Leia kicks @$$, but since she is not being political it will never be brought up a gain, also they killed Kenny... I mean the Emperor.

A dark Empire shows up that somehow isn't as dark as the previous Empire; also, Han Solo Jr. Anakin Solo.

Its a bit late but for Wedge's gamble.

A book where a bunch of pilots are used for a commando operation even though we have known since RTJ that the Alliance alreay has commando's. They and a bunch of pyschotic criminals they take with them, land on Courscant and despite splitting up on a planet sized city they run into each other all the time.
While Stackpole proves that he still cannot write dialouge from his last book and TIE fighters and X-Wings (and how stupid they are) still bear no relation to how TIE's and Xwings were in the films. Oh and Corran saves the day AGAIN

Luke travels to the dark throneworld of the Emperor and nearly turns to the dark side; meanwhile, the Alliance faces dark side stormtroopers, starships powered by the dark side, and mutant dark side rancors... in short, it is a dark tale about a dark Empire that would make Trioculus proud.

Palpatine returns with a strategy nobody ever expected -- super weapons -- but even more unexpected is that these huge war machines has a hidden flaw!

Luke semi-falls to the dark side under clones of the dead Emperor Palpatine and questions where does he get all his marvelous toys.

GrandAdmiralJello wins the round whilst failing the language. Culator mistakes this for a review thread and is thus disqualified. Now then:
