An unforgettable masterpiece depicting the intricacies of Wookiee society/culture and the heroic efforts required to keep a cantina on Tatooine operational in order to slake the thirst of weary miners and explorers...
Chewbacca's wife learns the importance of stir-whipping before she whip-stirs, his son learns why Boba Fett is the greatest bounty hunter in the galaxy, his dad enjoys an erotic dance video, a completely unrelated bartender sings to drunkards on Tatooine, while the big Wookiee himself makes it home just in time to celebrate Life Day before Leia ruins everything by singing.
Proof that humans have the ability to forgive and forget, after all people still went to see ESB just two years later.
Posting on behalf of Sir Anthony Daniels: "It was Wookiee Pride Day... you will die if you watch it." Starting @ 2:55: (yeah don't count this entry )
Sorry, but I'm opting out of this one because one sentence simply cannot do the Star Wars Holiday Special justice.
The movie that everyone cites as the worst in the Star Wars saga, when it's not time to complain about TPM that it. And Happy Life Day, people.
Star Wars variety show that compares poorly to Donny and Marie's efforts, and likely a subsequent cause of Carrie Fisher's obsession with Bolivian marching powder.
First the Disney thread, now this... Why do I get the feeling this is all part of a coordinated attempt behind the scenes to generate curiousity and trick people who have yet to be traumatised by the much-rumored Wookiee porn into watching the Holiday Special?
The special that revealed all the everyday activities of the galaxy's citizens that nobody wanted to see.

I know. With this coming up so often, I've seriously begun thinking about checking it out and seeing if it is as horrible as everybody makes it out to be.
The Holiday Special is a necessary rite of passage for all Star Wars fans. If you make it through the whole thing, you'll know that you will be able to face any bad story that LFL puts out. If not, then this franchise may not be for you.
