Luke and Ben compete in the space Olympics and it's kind of awesome but also pointless.

Ooh, ooh, it's the backlash against those readers who thought Allston was better than this; he signed onto this mess willingly, you know!

Indeed. It seems that Todd the Jedi has hit upon the perfect formula: rip apart Daala=tons of likes. But can it continue to capture the heart and minds of OSOLers? Probably.

I think that's supposed to be Luke on the cover?

That's the one where they go that that one planet and Wesley destroys that one sacred thing, and almost gets executed for it...oh, wait...wrong Universe...

The cover is the best thing about this oneā€”and the cover...I'd be willing to ally with Sith to destroy it.

Ben Skywalker is given a love interest in a heavy-handed, cringe-inducing fashion that makes the romance in Attack of the Clones look inspired.

For over a thousand generations, the Jedi and Republic failed to put a dent in the Hutts' slave-based civilisation - then a couple of blundering Sith, reintroduced to space travel just two years earlier, decide 'hey, that fountain looks neat' and bring the whole edifice tumbling down.

This is one of the many books in which Luke kills Abeloth after she ate his ex-girlfriend, and also one of the many books in which Daala attacks the Jedi, who are all trapped in the Temple because apparently it happened to be free onion rings at bowling night or something.
