Despite having his name on the cover, this book is actually about Obi-Wan Kenobi's hayseed neighbors whose lives revolve around a general store and who all think he's dreamy, and the biggest threat in the story is a bad loan, but it's totally great anyway.

Dude, bad loans are the very essence of the dark side.

Obi-Wan may not hate sand, but shady businessmen who run protection rackets really get on his nerves.

    I'm just going to cheat:

"Westerns. A period gone by, the pioneer, the loner operating by himself, without benefit of society. It usually has something to do with some sort of vengeance; he takes care of the vengeance himself, doesn't call the police. Like Robin Hood. It's the last masculine frontier. Romantic myth, I guess, though it's hard to think about anything romantic today. In a Western you can think, Jesus, there was a time when man was alone, on horseback, out there where man hasn't spoiled the land yet."

I'd make a joke about Thrawn being so photogenic he lands a spot on the cover of a book he isn't in, but I'm sure you guys have that covered.

Luke and Mara investigate the outcome of Outbound Flight, run into a new 501st legion that's better than the old one because Thrawn made it, argue with a Force-fearing cluster of survivors because a Jedi hurt them before and they can fend for themselves dammit, fight a droideka because Phantom Menace was pretty cool and Tatooine Ghost already did the podracer thing, and get betrayed by the one non-human or Chiss species prominently featured in the book who happen to be genocidal slavers because the Unknown Regions are dangerous son.

Luke and Mara join a bonus Fel kid and a Chiss who isn't Thrawn on a mission to figure out what happened to Outbound Flight, except the adorable victim aliens turn out to be evil slaver pirates, so the Jedi, Fel, and four super-badass stormtroopers kill slaver scum and never actually find out enough to spoil the book Outbound Flight, which they'd better hope comes out IU just like the prequel DVDs.
