    I made it a bit through bailed at the point where there was a chase with some amnesia guy or something, cuz I wanted juicy Falcon history details and it was not forthcoming.

    The book where Allana finds something in the Falcon, left there by Vergere, which alludes to what happened to Jacen and sends the family on a mysterious trek, connected with the history of the Millennium Falcon - oh wait, this is the novel I wanted to happen, not what actually did.

    This is the only time we get to see Vergere in action as a Jedi, let alone with a lightsaber; or, the Jedi get sidelined so a pirate with a Rodian sidekick named Boiny (I love that name) can save the day.

    James Luceno takes us behind the scenes of Palpatine's insidious plot to explain The Phantom Menace's political scenes (except he can't come out and say it's Palpatine because he still had to pretend everybody didn't know who Darth Sidious was).

    Palpatine plays the denizens of the galaxy like a fiddle, and coincidentally his plans seem to line up perfectly with those of this Darth Sidious guy.
