So this is how the NJO's legacy dies. With thunderous bad & shoddy plotlines and little applause.

This maybe be a crappy way to sum it up and lacking in any pizzazz, but it is a sad truth.

Betrayal- perfectly titled, as it was how the fans felt by this work by Allston, when we were expecting a work the quality of the Wraith Squadron books, or at the least as good as Rebel Dream/Stand.

Pretty much everything that Force Heretic was supposed to do is done again in about 900 fewer pages, and we still don't actually learn much of anything important about Zonama Sekot despite Nen Yim teasing us.

 

Choka nukes the holonet and the galaxy is screwed!

 

Nom Anor fails at everything...again.

 

Thrawn's cloaked Golan Battle Station saves Wedge Antilles in the system where Thrawn and a Golan Battle Station tried to kill Wedge Antilles two decades earlier.

In the middle of the fall of Jacen Solo's story we sidetrack into a story that is all about the Fetts with Han Solo wondering wtf he has to do to eliminate this guy from the galaxy for good.
