anyway, am having a stroke over the intensity of recent games.
and
actually felt like
I am in the hunt for one....dispite computer failures.

 

Games are going better for me....

Have figured out how not to get eliminated in the 1-st round,

and now have a 5-round plan.

sure....yeah....right


anyway, am looking forward to a scholarly disertation and
report promelgating the Thanksgiving festivities including
insightful notes on games, food, and the official meeting
that I am sure took place

or I think I lost 8 and the other guy lost none and I did not get a card,

and so someone else got the break with extra cards....but, I held on to the bitter end

kinda quiet on CC

guess shopping and decorating for the holidays is keeping us busy.

though, I was out measuring my one tree that I like to light up
in traditional fashion,

but

this fir tree grows about 12 to 18 inches per year depending on rainfall

and one year I foolishly watered it ....a-lot....year round,
even in winter.....cause....fir trees grow the year round


anyway, it now stands at about 24-feet tall,
I use a very long pole to determine height along with
the height of the house....currently at 25-feet.


and so the short story here is....it is way to gosh darn big!

or.....I need a cherry picker/crane to get to the top (my pole now to short
to do the job)

It took 4000 mini-bulbs the last time I did it.

and it is not that hard, as I think target has philipps 7-color mini bulbs
at $9.99 each last time I bought some,
and they are 200-bulbs per strand, and the instructions let you
put 6 strands together, tho three strands of 1200 does use up one
whole 20 amp circuit in the house....but, heck, years ago I had one installed

ok will give that CC game a week or so for others to join,

in the meantime.....

have become very good at knowing who will win any CC game
by just seeing where the opening set up gives certain players an advantage.
This includes me being almost gone or actually gone by round 3
unless
it is a very large game

ps, the dice still are wrong....no way can you roll 1 die against 3 dice,
and win 4 times in a row or more......more than once in the same game.

it just seems wrong

Hey, I am in a CC game and well, does this sound familiar,




It's my turn
it's free Style
I am starting the game


I deploy and make my moves,
but

everyone else plays before I have a chance to finish my turn,
and as the game progresses,
some finish between the time I press....begin turn and deploy

ie......no one else can play until I do

I have a continent

I click begin and the move to deploy.....fast as I can,
but......still not fast enough.


and so......is there special software addons that give others an advantage
in this area?


The game I am in is very fast....tho has stopped abruptly at this time.

Well, it might help if you posted the game number.

However, you need to plan out your turn BEFORE you click "Begin". Decide where you want to place your men, where you want to attack, etc. Plan all this out in advance, and then do it as fast as possible. I'm pretty good at this, and I've taken people out on a few occasions after they started their turn, but before they could deploy men.

There aren't really any add ons that will help, except "Conquer Tell Notifier" which you can find in the "Conquer Club Tools" thread. This add on will beep when it is your turn to play a game.

They were just very fast....and I was very slow,

or....my mouse and how my monitor displays the play area
make ever move kinda difficult.

just to deploy is a multi click move the screen around
douoble check process for me....that I must now learn to
steamline some how.

well, this game site seems up and running again....but I am worse off than ever.

Losses are piling up and all else is in chaos....

If only I could see the whole board at once and actually see the army counts.

double check everything

If only I could stop making silly moves, I just keep mis-reading the board
and what I click on....

This is a really goofy one.

As some may remember, I have no faith or confidence in the overall set up
and organization of the conquere games____but still they are fun
and entertaining. (especially doubt how the numbers are generated for the dice)


anyway, in game 1622253

A new commer, (just signed up that day for that game)

managed to get credit for holding every country on the board,
(which means they should have won the game),
but in fact they held nothing at that time.

Check it out, One of the other players says they are turning it over to a mod,
so, it is either a giant bug in the game matrix,
or some kind of hack-job.

I really liked the game, cause it had 8 players.

oh well, another loss for me. Can not stop a player getting 20 or more guys on
every turn, no matter what they currently hold.
