Ok well, this is actually a song vig. Sorry but when I heard this song on the radio last night I just couldn?t resist.

Characters: Jag and Jaina
Setting: After Myrrkr possibly during Rebel Dream.
Note: This does not follow in line with the story so if it sucks please don?t kill me. It was just begging to be written. A few words in the song may be wrong since I wrote it down from memory so those of you who know the song please for give me.

Intro: Jagged Fel stays with his squadron after the battle at Hapes and finds Jaina in an empty pilots rec. room in deep thought.


Ok I just thought of a title: I won't take you for granted any more

Jagged Fel walked into the rec room thinking he?d find it empty. But what he did find was even better. Jaina Solo stood looking out of the transparasteel window, wearing a green flight suit and a formal black Jedi robe. Her entire appearance was solemn, and it was clear that she was in a meditative state. He looked at her up and down but it was her face that his eyes stopped on.

From first glance on the Tafanda Bay he?d seen how beautiful she was, but even now, he was amazed to realize that he believed her even more beautiful than before.

I. . . I?ve always been a little shy
I?ve always been the quiet type till now
And I . I . I . I never let my feelings show
I never let anyone know just how... Much
I was so deep in Love

Then he hadn?t given it much thought. Even after that he had believed she needed to be more grim. Looking at her now though, he saw the toll it had taken, the pain was in her eyes as was the sadness. And at that moment he wished he could take it all away from her. For reasons unknown, he wished he could hold her and make all the pain she was feeling vanish. As if it had never happened.

But, Jaina hadn?t moved when he came in and he figured that she probably just wanted to be alone, so he started to turn around and leave.

?It?s alright, you don?t have to go,? she told him without turning around.

Jag stopped at the sound of her voice and faced her again, ?I don?t wish to intrude,?he told her.

Jaina smiled weakly at this and said, ?You weren?t,? finally she turned and looked at him, ?besides I could use a distraction right about now,? she joked half heartedly.

Nodding he said, ?I?m sorry about your brother.?

To his surprise she grew angry, ?Blast it Fel you stink at this game! That was exactly what I wanted you to take my mind off of.?

Scorning at his own stupidity he walked forward and said, ?Please excuse me then. I?m sorry if I?ve never been really good at games.?

Jaina grimaced at his formality, ?I?m sorry Jag,? she said looking away, ?it seems I?ve been snapping at everyone lately.?

?That?s understandable,?he said, trying his best to sooth her and failing.

?But it?s inexcusable,? she paused, ?It?s just that. . . I finally realized how little we all knew about Anakin. How even as a child he kept everyone at a distance. He was a constant friendship in my life, I guess I just thought he would always be there. It took it all for granted, and I wish I never had. I don?t want to keep taking things for granted anymore Jag.?

He wanted so much just to wrap her in his arms at this moment and erase the pain she was feeling. But knowing she would probably throw him across the room if he did, he simply said, ?I understand.?

Jaina scowled, ?That?s just it Jag,? she told him. Looking up at him she continued, ?I don?t think you do. I don?t want to take anything for granted anymore. Not my friends or my family, but most especially. . . I don?t want to take you for granted anymore. I care about you Jag,? she said softly, ?and whether you feel the same w
