    Wow. I was making a joke. I was talking to Mitch (Mert_Skywalker) about a thread in this fourm that ended up being dedicated to me. He said if there was a thread dedicated to him he'd flip. As a joke I started to post a thread and acidently hit enter.

    So... this thread really doesn't have much of a topic. To each his own I suppose.

    POST AWAY!

    Maybe someone should delete it?

    Nah. Post away. (haha... people are going to talk about you Mitch)

    Man, only Canadians could think of this. Don't know whether to be proud or stunned by our lack of clarity. But, hey, I've been drinking again, so, who knows. Canadian. Simple. That is me. Go gogo. I'm tired, going to bed. Any Kelowna (or Okanagan) folken, lets make a thread, get together, line up for Ep. III - I'll bring the beers, baby!!!

    (I didn't intend for it, but some of the above rhymes. Only a drunk Canuck. I swear .....)

    Hello, my baby,
    Hello, my honey,
    Hello, my ragtime gal!
    Send me a kiss by wire;
    Baby my heart's on fire!
    If you refuse me,
    Honey, you'll lose me,
    Then you'll be left alone;

    Did you know it takes a few minutes for the forums to update their counters?

    About as fascinating as this thread. :)

    If you go to Google and do an Image search on "Oooops" you get this picture of some people in a pool

    Nah, I was never too far out too drown. Infact, the closest I came to drowning was when my father pushed me and held me in the water (he claims it's how you teach someone to swim. Right....)

    My swimming teacher was cruel like that, but in a different way.

    My father used to pretend to drown and have me doggpaddle out to the middle of the pool to "save" him. I'd lecture him about being more careful after I'd dragged him back to the edge of the pool, but his repeated "close calls" really frightened me. I was a very trusting five-year old, you see. :(

    In retrospect, as soon as I figured out he was faking it, I should have pretended to drown myself from fatigue as I swam out to rescue him, and after he had had a real scare say to Dad, "Now you know how it feels!" :mad:

    The closest I have ever come to drowning when I was 12, and I jumped into a pool, a Golden Retriever jumped in after me and landed on my head almost knocking me out, Becuase this was a full grown retriever and he was not small either. I still have a few small scars from where I got scratched when it was swimming away.

    Wow. :eek: Usually they go after sticks in the water, not little kids!
