Aha, so the PC thread. I have a question for you other PC users.

I'm moving to England this summer, and their electricity runs at a different current. So, should I just buy an adapter/converter thing, or should I just swap out my power supply for something I buy over there?

 

We have a real "hardware thread" you know.

Some PC Power Supplies take both 110 and 230v input. Some of these have a switch. If yours has a switch, flick to 230 and just buy a new lead, to go from wall socket to PC, for a couple of pounds.

If your PSU says nothing about dual voltages (look by where your power cord plucs in), then buy an adaptor. Or a new PSU, whatever is cheaper.

Though at least with an adaptor you can power up other US appliances.

Yes, I know there is a hardware thread, but I am attempting to singlehandedly make this the PC thread, so I figured it needed some content.

 

I have a PC. I don't know what the specs are, cause I'M TEH PC N00B. It's grey however and has a screen, mouse, keyboard, hard drive and speakers.
