From the official thread, The Giant speaks in response:

It's from the dinosaur attack. They didn't clean them up.

And as I was drawing that panel, I said to myself, "Someone will ask about the bolt within the first ten posts."

Nice to see Roy show his combat chops despite being out gunned.

I don't understand the plan, unless its just running away.

I detect sarcasm. WURT! WURT! ALARM!

No, V is obviously not running away, V is going to do something with the magic device. I don't know what exactly but V will not engage in direct spell battle.

Put the kobold in the bag? I don't think that will work as you need to put air in a bag of holding for it to fit a person.

Put the kobold in a bag and deliver it to Belkar? [face_devil]

I thought it was fairly obvious he is going to blast the kobold.

V realised that the dark elf is set up perfectly to defeat him and he couldn't win, so he just flew away. Instead of wasting his spells on an unkillable dark elf he'll just off the opponents of the others, like Thog and the kobold, then they can team up on the elf.

I still like my idea of the kobold in the bag of holding.

This is a wonderful example of use of rules to adapt and overcome. Aside from Meta thinking, YAY V!

V using "Dominate ...". I'll look up that spell level later.

    801 Bound to Happen

The interesting thing here is that Nale is sneaking around in the city under their father's nose.

He has levels in rogue, so he can sneak.

I don't know if you are kidding there or just reading me wrong so I shall elaborate. What I meant was that there was a question as to wether or not Nale and gang were there with his knowledge or hiding ou. So we now know there are their without his father's knowledge.

    803 Saved by the Belt

Hilarious. Although it is apparent that V's familier does nto share his/her INT score. (Disclaimer= this of course may work out to save the day and in that case I take it back).

Familiar's have pretty soddy INT. Like, my bard over in the NSWRPF is level 8 and my raven has INT 9 (10-11 is average human). So even if V is like, level 15, that bird'd only have INT 13.

Mr Scruffy getting the belt I hope is also a prelude to Belkar. He has been absent for many an issue now.
