That is my question. I think demons and devils get banished if they are killed but otherwise she should be free to come and go as she pleases. Or was that a joke that went over our heads concerning the tv?

 

I had to look into it again. Sabine is chilling out down there because Holy Word as cast by Durkon banished her there, though I'm not exactly sure for how long it lasts.

 

If it functions like a Dismissal, she's returned to her plane -- doesn't say anything about length of time, but we know she was only able to travel 1/day prior ("I'll see you in 24h").

In Forgotten Realms Drizzt defeated a balor, banishing said creature to its homeplane for 100 years. When WOTC rebooted the setting for 4E they bumped the timeline ahead 100 years and sure enough said balor became a factor again. I thought that was cool.

 

I was browsing the official forums and happened upon a conversation about there being "only two books left". It was not disputed but I could find no other reference anywhere. So as far as the comics that appear on the main site there are 4 books even though their are technically 7 published.

So that's 228 pages per book so we may have just about 450 pages to go. The comic started in 2003 and it is not 10 years later. In fact, one month from tomorrow will be its 10 year anniverssary! So, we may have approx another 5 years of OOTS unless The Giant decides to hurry things along.

Now, given that Ian and Geoff jumped off that dinosaur somewhere in the middle of the desert, I guess the best solution would be to find V immediately (wouldn't his/her hours with the Directors be up some time around now?) and have him/her scry the desert to find them, or something.

 

I think Tarquin is going to die in one of two ways.

1. Rather be remembered as an evil legend he will be framed as a do gooder right before he dies.

2. Or he gets killed in an epic humiliation and is remebered forever that way.

 

Well, either of those would be a fitting punishment.

Man, this is the sort of thing I really want to hate Tarquin for, but secretly have to admire. Just like I get a warm feeling in my heart when Belkar murders someone (or even more heart-warmingly, a group of people) I'm starting to become misty-eyed and sentimental about Tarquin's bloody evil genius. A bit like...aww... look now he's got someone else by the proverbials. Good for him!

Bad me.

 

Rich should go full Breath of Fire and have Tarquin get off scot-free.

 

I tell you what I don't want is a Darth vader ending. Star Wars puns are frequent in OOTS and I like them but having have a moment of redemption right before he dies is too predictable even for someone not trying to be GRR Martin.

 

No no no no, I don't want Tarquin to turn Good! He's too good a villain for that.

Well, they do have options. V could show up and at least deflect the arrows. They could dive into the rift. V could teleport them though I do not recall V being able to 'port the whole group. And that devil is still standing there with them.

 

V can't cast teleport - Tarquin made a note of it in #760.

"Zyklon.....sub-boss", lmao. makes me wonder how many times I have misspelled Xykon. I am quite sure I have started it with a Z many times. I don't have to choose, I'd cheer for Xykon if he and Tarqin fought.

I do like seeing Roy hack things to bits, dino and rider in one swipe. Also, he takes down 5 dudes in one go. That's some high level number of attacks. What is the FEAT? You hit one and they are reduced to 0 and you can immediately attack the next target? I think there are two FEATS in fact, the 2nd one allows an unending number of extra attacks so long as the targets are within reach.
