TT is fresh and ready. I would love to see OOTS beat them down. They have been getting their asses kicked and manipulated left and right.

 

925 - Catching Up with Family

You know, if they somehow manage to take out the psion, I think they have a fighting chance...

 

This made me think about what in my upbringing was a classic dino mathcup, the triceretops vs the T-Rex. And I too rooted for T-rex not only in any given dino mvie but with my own toys.

You are right about Laurian but they might no thave to fight her so much as wear her power points out. I assume she'd see right through any illusion. Teleporting a large creature cannot be easy. I do hope that was some sort of regular psionic attack and not say Psionic Crush which might reduce Haley's HP to -1.

I like that little shot of Blackwing flying with the bow. Miron got hurt. They are not invulnerable!

Hope= Last panel, belkar is worried, Elan is shocked, but Roy is pissed.

Ok, ok. V saving the day. Not only with the tactical suggetsion but notice V in panel 6, then V is not in the last 4 panels. V is gonna pull something awesome.

And I would totally name my T-rex Bloodfeast.

They may end up going through the snarl hole to escape him.

 

Yeah, I have a feeling they might. It would make a good end to the current story arc and allow the Order to explore what's actually inside the Rift.

Ooohh, Prismatic Spray. Nasty gouge there to Roy by the triceratops though. LOL at Tarquin after hearing Elan ask Roy what to do. He does look pissed though.

Looks like the triceratops ended up on some other plane of existence.

EDIT: Just noticed a comment on the forums - Tarquin appears to have taken no damage yet again.

 

Kind of curious as to what's about to happen next, since Tarquin's fallen in reach of a knife. My basic instincts would point to him stabbing Roy in the back, but Roy's already died so we don't have a whole lot to gain from going through that yet again. Elan, maybe, if one extrapolates under the assumption that both of his sons have failed him?

 

I'm curious as to how many times Elan has yelled a team member's name like that.

The last two panels are just hilarious. And when is the last time Belkar complimented someone?

I hope we don't have to wait another 8 days.

 

Great update, but I'm really worried about what will Tarquin do...

 

I don't think he's going to wipe out Roy or Elan, to be honest: V's got the drop on Tarquin from above and the psion seems to be on fire right now.

Well obviously it's some sort of code. I just can't figure out what. I guess it refers to something from the past, I just can't remember what.

It's Laurin taking the whip using telekinesis; Tarquin instructed her to keep the casters down in the prior panel and she's doing so partly by grabbing the whip that is around V's throat. I just didn't have room to show her in panel 7 without shrinking the rest of the art down smaller than I would have liked. I didn't want to cheat anyone on Belkar-being-punted action.
