Order of the Phoenix

Well, I just finished reading my copy last night and was wondering who else around here has read or is reading or will read it.

I have to say that I felt this book was much grittier than the previous 4. It seemed more realistic, more grounded... I don't know, less fanciful. It was like the Empire Strikes Back of the Harry Potter series, imo.

Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hopefully someone out there will have read it by now too.

 

Kenzi and I will be reading it shortly, as soon as the person we're borrowing it from, finishes.

 

The person you are borrowing it from is hurrying!!! I'm on page 677. Don't worry, you will have it y the end of the weekend, at the latest.

Brent, I agree with you so far, it is MUCH more realistic. I can't wait to finish it!!!

 

If you'd like to borrow my copy as well, Billy & Kenzi, I think we could arrange that. At least you could read it simultaneously.
