Should we make a list of the members who are currently active in the group? A lot of the names there haven't posted for a while.

 

Yes we should. I just have not had time to go through the list in detail. In the past I would go through each members post history to see if they posed on the OFF during the last 6 months. This is a long process. I will eventually do it, but if someone wants to do it in my place, go ahead. In the past, I've discovered that there are only a hand full of really "active" members, but the less active members still post once in a while (once ever month or two). So, in the past, I never really had to drop many names from the Survey.

 

I could try and help out.

To Crash / everybody else: Not to sound crass, or anything, but this is getting to be a pretty lengthy list. I think we should remove the MIA list. If they are MIA they aren't posting, anyway. So what does it matter if they are declared as members. They aren't active, nor should we keep them on any kind of member roster.

It isn't anything personal against any of them, just a bit of housekeeping. I think that those who are no longer members or those who are MIA should be dropped from the roster. It would make keeping track of our membership a lot easier.

I have removed those who are no longer members, or haven?t posted at all this year (as near as I am aware of). I have also removed the ages, since they aren?t kept up anyway. I?ve kept Vengeance and Larena a part of us, even though they are out of the country, because they are still very much part of the OFF and they both post regularly.

I think this would keep it all a bit cleaner in appearance. There really isn?t any need to list those who don?t even frequent our forum anymore.

But some of the members on the list haven't been seen for over a year, so should we drop them because they aren't active? I made a list of active members a little while ago that was much shorter than the current list, but includes those of us who have been active on the forums or showed up at the meetings.

 

No, by all means do the shorter list. That was just a quick job of it, that I did. I would say that if anyone hasn't even so much as squawked since the first of there year (come on, that is almost 8 months) we should put them off of the active list.

Like I said, that isn't a slight on anyone. It is what it is. They are inactive. We aren't saying that they aren't welcome in our house, just the opposite. It is just simple housekeeping - the K.I.S.S method. Keeping it simple, stupid has always worked well for me!

Just be sure to add those who are new and those who have come back to the fold onto that list. That's all....

Here is what I have. However, Skot seems to not come here anymore. I also removed DeadorAlive because he said that he was leaving.

 

He just came back and already he is leaving again? What's up with that?

I'll about getting a hold of Skot and Brandy to see what they are up to. It could be that they are just caught up with Darth Real Life. Ya know?
