I know a few bars in Chicago. Mind you, they are all on the Southside if you are willing to "risk" it. The best one is Guides on Archer by Midway airport. They have GREAT FOOD and decently priced alcohol. I would suggest that place after you party it up at a club or something. If you are just spending time in the Loop, Billy Goat Tavern is where it is at. Cheezborger!

I'm just saying topless/drinking/shooting can lead to evening news reports.

Which will only serve to cement it as a Grade A bachelor party amirite?

This is the only Archer guide anybody needs:

(Sterling Archer would probably also throw a kick-awesome bachelor's party, but beware of Krieger)

The strip clubs in Chicago suck.

You ought not do anything at all, as the whole idea is disgusting. But if you must, I suggest gathering for a breakfast to celebrate the impending nuptials, that you can end by delivering your gifts to the bride's family.

Laser Tag can make the short list. I thought about camping for a minute because he does like spending time in a cabin up north with family, but a cabin and camping are two different things and I've never camped before. So this might not be the best time to learn. Though my sister goes camping all of the time and could teach me.

I did remember that my friend, when attending festivals, gambles a bit. So we might hit up a casino. I think his sister works or worked at one if I'm not mistaken. I'll have to look into that.

I grew up in the south suburbs. So anything on the south side is fair game. Never been to Guide's before though. The reviews seem to be mixed and I'm concerned about the parking. Billy Goat Tavern is something I'd consider if we end up downtown.

This is the only time the phrase "gathering for breakfast" has ever been spoken in a discussion about a bachelor party. Also, "impending nuptials."

Trust me, Guide's is amazing. I know the owners and they are good peoples. Yea parking is a b, we were lucky and found street parking on the side of the place. Let me think about a few other places on the southside that are good.

Instead of a limo, charter a bus. Same price, some have a toilet, you got room for a keg and you'll have more energy because you can move around instead of sitting folded up all night. and bus drivers maybe less likely to take the coke you offer them than a limo driver. I dunno, true story.

Planning my sister's bachelorette party was a nightmare.

Good luck, kid. You're gonna need it.

Make a bachelor party in four simple steps (Originally featured in a Finnish TV-series Pasila, translation mine)

    1) Decide that this is going to be the best bachelor/ette party ever, and plan it to feature a tiger-riding lightsaber tournament, bungee jumping from a plane that flies faster than sound into a wormhole, and having a symphony orchestra playing Paranoid. Then realize that every idea is either impossible or costs too much, and scrap them.

    2) Decide to then make the party personal for the bachelor/ette, and try to come up with funny, personal and slightly embarrassing things. Realize that you can't come up with anything.

    3) Decide that he/she will be happy to have a normal evening with a couple of beers and board games. It's enough that you are all there to have fun with him/her, right?

    4) Just before the party realize that you are making the most boring party ever, and end up with a party where everyone ends up drunk, the bachelor/ette is cross-dressed, tied up, hit with baseball bats and thrown into a river from a bridge. But at least it wasn't boring.

    Bachelorette party:

    1. Two words: Pure Romance.
    2. Six more words: Chocolate cake shaped like a ****.

As far as a bachelor party, if you hire a stripper, make sure she sends a picture first.

This hard-earned lesson brought to you by my brother-in-law's best man. He was embarrassed, my sister was pissed.

Here in the UK separate stag (men) and hen (ladies) weekends aren't unknown. Two former neighbors of mine did that. The groom went off with his friends and the bride went off with hers on the same weekend. Whatever you do, I suggest not doing it the day before the wedding. Let those hangovers settle down.
