On their twitter they said 4 day tickets are almost sold out. So I guess it's time to grab tickets if you've been on the fence.

Do we get to pick which badge we want? I ordered my ticket long ago. Does anyone know if you get to pick?

 

It'll be based on what kind of ticket you got (4-Day, Thursday, Friday, etc.). I'm guessing the Rebels ones will be for the kids badges. The Luke will probably be the VIP, but I'm just guessing.

 

Oh okay. I got 4-day. I just read through this entire thread and I'm so excited. Is this the main thread for Celebration events or is there another I should also look at?

I got it too. I imagine with Rogue One coming out and Christmas coming up that they've had a bump in sales.

Wow. That means they won't have any on-site either, huh? With four months still to go, that's pretty impressive! I guess you could still buy single day if you wanted.

 

They usually sell out in advance of the show.

 

If you want to go all the day you can still buy single day tickets. Admittedly that is a much larger cost per day but it's still doable.

 

Glad I bought my ticket. Is this it or do you think they will add more later on?

 

I think for Europe they released some more, but those may have just been single day, not all-days passes. Someone with a better memory than me may remember.

If I had to guess though, they won't add more.

 

It was just single day tickets - I posted over in our UK fan forum about it at the time. No extra VIP or 3-day passes were added.

 

I screwed the pooch on that one. I never worried about passes selling out in the past.

When did Europe sell out of three day passes? I remember that being pretty far in advance.

Now I am not sure if I should wait it out in hopes of more coming up for sale, or getting one on a secondary market (somehow?). Or if I should just bite bullet and buy for 1 day passes.

 

I stand corrected. I don't remember any of the US ones selling out quite this early. How many people attended CE this year?

 

I'm really surprised, I don't remember the other Orlando Celebrations selling out at all. Glad I got mine early.

 

Last time it was in Orlando, there weren't any more films to look forward to. Star Wars' popularity has boomed now to perhaps an all-time high. This Celebration will be the 40th anniversary of ANH, you'll have perhaps the first Episode VIII trailer and maybe a victory lap of sorts for Rogue One. I'm not surprised at all.

 

I think it must be just profit more. There is no way they ran out of space at the OCCC. Bummer. I was waiting and got burned.
