    Linky linky

This is cool. It's confirmation that Vaders injuries come from burns (well duh), and it sounds like they're going to make him look really munted, moreso than what we saw in the OT (given that he would have had plastic surgery). Good stuff.

And we're also going to see the uber-ugly Emperor Palpatine.

I wonder if the wrinkly skin, yellow eyes, bad breath, et cetera are (a) how he REALLY looks, and he's been using some long-term Sith Mind Trick on everyone to conceal his appearance, or (b) something happens to him to make him look that way in ROTS - maybe he gets burned a little bit too? When reading about the injuries to Anakin, it brings up the old PG/PG-13 debate again. From the write-up, it doesn't sound like they held back with the make-up and it will be fairly graphic.

    Poor Ani. :(

"What we do is actually the opposite of what most makeup artists do," Elsey continues. "Most makeup artists spend all their time taking away all the broken blood vessels and taking away the reds and the veins and things, and making everything perfect."

Hehe, interesting way to put it. :)
