ST Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) in Episode VII

Poe looks like a fully fledged bad-ass. Not a single hint of fear in his voice or his face. Definitely going to be a great character and I have a strong suspicion he will also be force sensitive.

 

Poe will get his shine once the movie comes out and we see his piloting in all its glory. It'll be one of our favorite parts to praise. Right now its just a consequence of Disney not showing much of the large scale action we'll be seeing in the movie.

 

Having grown up next to a force sensitive tree, there is a fair chance that he will. Then again it would be nice to have at least one muggle in the big three and poe has the highest chance.

Poe is Buddha. Confirmed.

 

Call me old fashioned but I'd prefer a Buddha to look vaguely asian.

 

Okay I'll just say it, I would totally go gay for him. Christ.

 

Marketing for this movie can't seem to decide whether Poe is a big deal or not.

 

Empire? Hell no, he's a resistance pilot.

Finally some marketing for Poe.

 

I'm excited about all the new leads and have avoided getting dragged into any of those silly discussions that pit one character against another but right now I'd love to see a Poe Dameron Trilogy with him and his squadron flying round the galaxy righting wrongs!

I expect I'll have to settle for a book series.

 

Unless it's the biggest plot twist and the FO is really just a rebel branch of the real Empire which still exists and in reality Poe is the Tie commander and he is on a secret mission

R2's presence there seems to confirms a theory a friend and I had that Poe borrows R2 as an co-pilot when he flies into battle at Takodana...

That's not where our theory ends, but I'm not sure if I should say the rest since it's a pretty wild theory in general lol.

 

Does it involve Snoke being an over grown gamorean guard who survived inside the belly of the sarlacc by eating his way out? Cause then we are thinking totally different things

I could be crazy but I was half awake this morning and it came to me , "Poe is Han's son". I don't know if it's true or not but in a vaguely awaken state it came to me and it sounded right at the time...

I felt it in the force.

Poe is the son of Kes Dameron and Shara Bey as established in the Shattered Empire comic. So no Han relation.

 

I thought the EU was out the window...

I never claimed to be strong in the force...

 

Shattered Empire is new canon.
