Another interview with Isaac. I especially liked this part:

"Confirming that Episode VII is due to begin filming at the end of May, Isaac went on to praise Abrams' approach to the franchise.

'JJ and I have just been talking a lot about the character - his enthusiasm and his collaborative nature are so refreshing in a movie of this size.' "

A focus on the character (whoever that character may be!) sounds good to me.

This may have already been done. But what are the chances he is a clone? Which might be interesting if he has a major role (big 3) as some say.

If he were a clone, then wouldn't they just have brough back Temeura Morrison or Daniel Logan?

I think Oscar is right in between those two in terms of age. At least he could play that age. The other looks much older.

Yes, but an actor named Bodie Taylor played the 20 year old clone in a brief scene in AOTC, which was the clone in between Logan's and Morrison's ages.

I think it's a very interesting idea that Isacc may be playing a clone, Boba or even 'son of Boba'.

Because it's very possible Logan's too young for the character they have in mind and Morrison's too old for the character they have in mind. Isaac's in between.

With zero lines - maybe he just can't carry a major role so they cast someone else.

Also as someone else just mentioned. Maybe he isn't a clone. Maybe he is the child of a clone. He would be the right age for a Boba offspring.

Maybe they don't know he is the son of Boba at first. That could be an interesting twist if he's part of the main group.

Ok, so people think Boba and Obi-Wan having kids doesn't require an explanation but if Luke has kids it would?

    I don't get it

I don't need an explanation for anyone's kids. I learned how it works long ago. That's good enough for me. The kids could just be there for all I care. I really don't think they need to hold our hands and say ok now this is Han's child....We can figure it out on our own from their interactions.

I'm really excited for this movie, but if I watch the trailer and hear the line "Luke Skywalker? Meet Roger Fett" or some such thing, I'm going to implode right there in my computer chair.

After viewing Inside Llewyn Davis, I was blown away by Isaac's performance.

That film was like the story of my life!! I empathize with that character 100%

He seems like he would be great as a rogue character, such as a pirate, scoundrel, smuggler, etc. He would be a good fit as the new Han Solo character. I don't particularly see him as a Jedi.

I watched Inside Llewyn Davis last night as well. I wasn't in love with the movie, but Oscar Isaac was great. He's definitely a very talented actor and I'm even more glad he's part of the cast now. Can't wait for details on his character.
