Not really. He was quite sleazy, unsympathetic (to me) in Dredd.

That said, I can't wait to see the blooper reels. If Oscar is anywhere near Domhnall hilarity will ensue.

Here's a bit of speculation about how Rogue One and Episode VII might have 'connective tissue'. Could actress Felicity Jones's character be Poe Dameron's mother? Mom was an X-wing pilot and her kid would grow up to become an X-wing pilot as well.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing Poe in VII.
too bad if rumors are true that Poe doesn't spend much time with Rey/Finn during most of the movie.

After reading this article, with the mention of scenes with Han and Leia together, I'm jumping on the "Poe might be Han and Leia's son" bandwagon. He's supposed to be the new "Han Solo" right? Possibly taking after his father? Being the possible son of Han, it would make sense that he could be taking after his dad in that way and with being a pilot. And according to this interview, Oscar Isaac said that he's a better pilot than Han. Funny... Possbily the son superceding his dad?

Now, about Kylo Ren...He still could be a son of Han and Leia. In that EU, which I never read, there were 3 kids right? Maybe that was pulled from the EU with altering all of their names, etc.

I'm am also thinking Poe is the twist.

 

I'm hoping Poe is the good son and Kylo's the bad son. Some potential there.

Please define "twist" for me...

 

Twist is that Poe is in the Resistance right in front of everyone but we don't know his lineage until end of TFA or maybe even until Ep8. That lineage being Skywalker bloodline. Kylo's brother, Rey's brother ,Han and Leai's son. Leia's trusted advisor sent to retrieve the lightsaber.

 

Cain and Abel scenario. Then Rey has to fight the bad one, i.e.- Cain.

This is the important quote of the Isaac interview, to me. Relationship? To whom? To his character? It sounded like he meant Han and Leia to me since he goes on talk about them.

 

Then being the romantic I am, I now could see Finn and Rey coupling up.

 

If Kylo is Cain, and Abel is Poe then that would mean

It would build tension between Luke / Leia and Han. Make the plot thicker.

Makes perfect sense, if he is her son. I'm believing this now.

 

But isn't there something in a clip that shows an X-Wing or the Falcon flying over Jakku? At least being in the vicinity of it?
