I still think he is Force Sensitive.

I was attempting to back up my theory by referencing the similarity of the shot of Poe in X-Wing and Luke in X-Wing.

I believe JJ to be dropping clues right here under our nose.

"Striking similarities"? No, I don't see any could be said if you used any photos of the X-Wing pilots from than angle.

If any of the new Big Three are going to be related to Luke, etc., it will be Rey.

I'd be willing to wager very heavily that there will be only one "legacy" child.

I'd be very, very surprised if the Big Three had more than one Force user.

It is going to be either Rey or Finn, not Poe.

 

I haven't put a lot of thought into Poe tbh. they haven't told us a lot about him.

seems like he'll be cool. I'm wondering if it'll be more of an actual big three working together scenario in VIII and/or IX though? because based on the rumours, Poe works with Finn at the beginning and then he basically has his own kind of detached plot for the rest of it. I wonder if he'll actually be with Finn and Rey for many parts of the middle section and then they'll fully separate when he does his aerial battle? 'cause there's clearly something missing for him to crash and be presumed dead and then show up at the end for a battle.

 

After watching Ex Machina, I like this guy as an actor, I think he'll bring something neat to the film.

 

I hope I'm seeing Ex Machina tomorrow. Appendages crossed.

Interesting. I like that he's approaching this from the character and how fulfilling playing Poe would be. He enjoys getting into his characters and really thinking about them (which we already knew by watching him, but it's cool to hear him verbalize that.)

Really looking forward to Poe. I hope he is one of those enthusiastic pilots who likes a good fight with long odds.

 

I'm getting a "Maverick from Top Gun" vibe from his character, only Isaac will bring his own personality to it. He was great in Ex Machina (and everything else he's been in) and I think he'll really do a great job of helping the ST give itself its own identity. I don't think that his character isn't related to anyone. I hope that's the case. The name seems to hint strongly that he isn't.

I predict that his character will go down as "Cool Wedge" in the end.

 

I saw Ex Machina today. Oscar was fun / good, but I did not like the movie. Bring on Poe.

Haha, that would be fun to see him piloting the T.I.E. (and knowing how to fly it...)
