    Well, I just finished the much-lauded Perdido Street Station, and all I can say is: WOW.

    Well, Miéville just joined the rank of authors whose new books I will buy immediately, before reading the reviews.

    I'm about to pick up his debut novel, King Rat, and am eagerly awaiting The Scar in June.

    By the way, does anyone have any idea what The Scar is about?

    I looked up his book on amazon.com last night. I think I'd like it, but my reading list is still full. Maybe I'll pick it up sometime.
