Well, I cannot make the Creed concert. I almost forgot that it is Josh's B-day and we are going out.

Well, after an evening drinking beer with Robin Zander, I've got to mention Cheap Trick. The whole band was way cool and they are a blast live no matter what size place they play.

To momentarily hijack this thread... You partied with Cheap Trick??? Tell me more, via Private Message (as not to upset the lovers of that burnt-coffee sounding wailing from the NorthWest) ;)

No problem Jorg. I am running short on time at the moment so if I don't write soon I'll share my admittedly "adult liquid induced haze" memories before or after the next meeting. Maybe by then I'll dig up the rather incriminating photos. Fortunately for me, they are not as bad as the pictures or video from my friend's wedding reception in Chicago. I am so glad I'll mellowed in my "old" age. ;)

I got to see CREED from the front row of DeerCreek the first year they were here. That is one of the best shows ever, them and Pearl Jam. Eddie Vedder is just as great in concert. If you have an extra ticket and want somebody else to go with you I will go. I know that they don't allow food, drinks or lawn chairs in there. Sorry :(

I think my dad might be comming with me. If he doesn't then I have to find someone elses parents or I can't go. My mom is seeing Wilco, so she can't take me. She is all worried that there will be a bunch of freaks there and she doesn't want anything to happen to me.

I am not going to see Korn, but I have seen them before. They are awesome live!

Cannibal Corpse is pretty good, Slipknot is alright, but Maiden are the true Masters of Metal.

For anyone who may even slightly be interested (and I know there are some of you, even if you don't admit to it).:

The Creed concert was most excellent. All the right songs were played, and they rocked. We heard them...we heard them all...every single one of them...and not just the radio ones, but the ballads and the fast songs too.
I think I may be digressing. Anyway, it really was an excellent time. Traffic was no problem at all, QK and I got ourselves good seats, and the music was, of course, wonderful. Plus, we got to see all the interesting types of people who attend concerts at Deer Creek (as it shall always be called in my mind).: The Mary Jane ladies next to us (if you take my meaning), the numerous people in questionable attire, and people attempting and failing to not slip in the mud. All in all, it was a grand evening, and it only took us an hour or so to get back on a major road after the show.

Oh, and our new personal hero "Steve" rocked the house with his boundless and unabashed enthusiasm. He was drunk on, presumably, life. Go, Steve!
    We'll never forget you. :)

Glad y'all had fun. For a gal who knows nothing about them, what would be a good album to get a sample of their music?

There are only three Creed albums currently released, and I don't remember what the first one is called, seeing as I don't have it. The next two are "Human Clay" and "Weathered," both of which are quite good. The first one is good too, so I hear, but I only know maybe two or three songs from it, and those I don't know that well. Anyway, I would try any of them. My personal favorite of the two I have is the more recent one, "Weathered." I hope that helps. :)
