(OT) Lord of the Rings Marathon

    Now is the time to start planning to go to the Lord of the Rings Marathonm on Tuesday December 16.

    The official word I have thus far is the top 100 markets will have it, and I'm trying to confirm that Crossroads 20 will be the local host, however, the NC Lord of the Rings fan club group :

    NC Fellowship

    ...is planning to converge in either Charlotte or Cary. I don't have any control but I'm hoping one or the other will have the marathon.

    I'm working with the management at Crossroads 20 to make it happen, and then I'll be coordinating all fan events there.

    Yes I have read about that, I sure hope somewhere locally will hold the marathon, I think that would be an incredible experience. I heard something similar is also being considered for the Star Wars movies once EP3 is finished. I look forward to hearing the details, I am definately in!
