[OT] Lord of the Rings TCG

Will most certainly hurt those Ring Bound ranger decks that are out there but there are ways to deal with it. Just use Perious Jouney. Exert 2 rangers to discard a minion 2 if gul. sure it's during the regroup phase so you can still get in that shot before Nelya get's it's discarding action.

 

Perilous Ventures is junk. I'd rather use Pursuit Just Behind or Gondor's Vengeance.

Well, I've got a job now, so I can afford it.

 

I just bought a box of Helm's Deep. I'M trying to catch up. I still need to buy Ents, one box of Two Towers and I would like to buy 3 boxes of Return of the King. But I'm not sure I have the money right now.

 

Focus on ROTK right now. You're gonna need it to compete in your meta.

 

right now the only help I'm getting from ROTK is for my fellowship side. my wargs get nothing and moria won't get anything anymore. though the fact that rangers get help will help out my ring bound ranger deck w/ wargs out at least.

 

Wargs are terrible; don't bother with them.

 

What is meta?

I bought a box of Ents and Two Towers on ebay, they were so cheap.

 

"Meta" is what you can expect your opponents to be playing.

My warg deck does VERY well as a few ppl can attest to. Red can too.

My gf archer deck is almost unbeatable.

 

So is my Three Hunters Token/Moria deck. It is 15-1 in tournament play. But unfortunately, I can't use it as often as I'd like, because then people would start expecting it and packing 4 Grimas, Desert Stalkers, Insurgents, etc. But it is very good.

 

Well, yesterday was a very productive foil day for me.

I started off by buying a couple packs of ROTK. One pack had three foils in it: Gandalf MOW, Cirion and King's Advisor. Another had a foil Morgul Vale. I figured that was a good start...

I then ended up trading for a bunch of new foils from other local players. Some of these included Merry's Sword, Mordor Fighter, Nertëa and The One Ring, Such a Weight to Carry! It's my Precious, yes, and we loves it.

 

Tom Bombadil is spoiled!

 

I don't collect foils. I trade them away for regular cards. So if you are looking for foils and would trade Rares from other expansions for them, PM me.

 

I bought a box today that had 8 foils in it, two of them rare. Yahoo!

 

Got my Ents of Fangorn box. Got an Aragorn rare foil. My first main foil ever in LOTR.

 

Yep, Aragorn is a sweet foil. If I didn't already own one, I'd want yours.
