I believe the date we've agreed on for the DVD marathon is October 16th at my place. This is of course subject to change, but that's what I'm shooting for.

Bruce, the last I spoke to you, you were still willing to host this thing. You'll have to let us know what time it's gonna start. Also, what shall we do about food? Pot luck? Everyone bring money for pizza? We venture out for food in between movies? All three?

 

Oct. 16th? I don't think I'll be able to make that one...

I'll be in Boston but Ken can go. So long as he picks me up at the airport at midnite! When last I ran into Bruce, it was still on.

 

The 16th is still cool with me if you guys can make it. I noticed that some folks have conflicts that night. Would another weekend be better? Once my show closes (October 9th), my schedule will be pretty flexible so if another weekend is better let me know. I figure we can start around 5:00 or 6:00 and just go until everyone putters out. We'll make sure to have "snacky" food and you guys can bring whatever you'd like to drink. We can certainly order pizza and there's also a pretty good Chinese place that delivers if you'd prefer. Or both!
Let me know if you'd like to change the date.

 

Well, if we change the date it would get put off till November, probably. The 23rd is BG, the weekend after is Halloween and there are parties and stuff.

If people are in favor of putting it off till November, that's okay with me. But we need to decide soon.

 

November would be ok for me if we change it.

I don't have anything scheduled in November yet either, actually... So is there a good date in November for you, Bruce? You know, since it's his place and all...

I would advise against Thanksgiving weekend, obviously. Other than that, can't think of anything else that might be going on.

It appears that November may work out better for most of youse guys, so why don't we say November 6th. That's a Saturday by the way. Would that be better for everyone?

 

Sounds cool to me. And yes, copious amounts of oddly shaped chocolate cake will make its appearance! LOL. Ok, not sure about the odd shape, but still.

Well, after having said that I can make this, I now remember that I can't as my chorale performance is that night and I totally forgot about it. I'm sorry. I can still provide the cake if you all want it. I'm on the way for Charles to pick it up if you still would like a cake. I feel awful that I have to bow out. Dang it.
