Ok this will be my last report for two weeks, I'm off to the set soon......before I go this news just confirmed by the "official" spokesperson at RecastFilms..........Keila has been cast as Beru Lars and....wait for it........Owen Lars will be completley CGI!!!!what a scoop!

The rebel pilot "Janson" will be portrayed by Rilina.

OH DEAR!!!my appologies! I must have been deactivated by some disgruntled jawas. What did you say?

 

I'll be random Rebels and Imperials on the Tantive IV and on Hoth as well. Two other parts for me: A Rebel pilot in the RotJ briefing who has his face hidden in shadow, and the guy who says "You rebel scum." Maybe that Rebel scum thing won't work because audiences will recognize me from my General Veers role. Oh well.

If there's a need I could be the ewok that hugs Han's legs or Wicket.

 

A recent rumour states that emilsson will be playing an Ewok. It is unknown whether this Ewok is Wicket or the Ewok who hugged Han's legs.

We have also heard slight rumours that the undisclosed female character LukesGirl is to play is none other than Oola! This is completely unconfirmed and may well be wrong, so don't assume anything yet. We're working our hardest to find out if it's true.

 

I want to be General Rieekan too btw. And a Royal Guard. Love the costume!

 

I know the plan for uncle Owen was going to be CGI but I thought of the perfect person for the role. If possible I would like to nominate vedekcobol for the role of Owen. He whines about getting work done and complains about people who drive too fast. Also speaking from a stormtroopers p.o.v. I wouldn't mind shooting him to ashes when he does complain. As for Owen being cgi we all remember jabba don't we? I think the role should be filled by a live member. I'll send him over to confirm or reject the role. If he doesn't like it maybe he will choose from the list above. Since I already have the suit for my one part I'll double as extra troopers. Its not like you can tell them apart.

 

i think i'll get a language coach to get my wookiee-speak accent more realistic.

 

Yeah me too. In fact, I'm late for my meeting with Ewan for voice coaching lessons. Gotta get that KEnobi dialect just perfect, you know.

 

I really don't need a dialect coach considering the closest thing i have to an accent in the trilogy is when i have to do that girlish whine while saying "but i was going to go to tosche station to pick up some poooower converters!"

 

I second that vote for Owen to be played by vedekcobol, from our brief 'friendship' i can testify-he'll be perfect.

SL1- I hope you will do TK421 justice...he stands out in the white & black crowd.

 

Yes, an unknown actor by the name of vedekcobol is, according to rumour, going to play Owen instead of the CGI previously planned.

Spicelord1 (TK421) has recently been seen rehearsing scenes other than the ones TK421 is in. Apparently he is playing some other stormtroopers as well. The rumour here is Commander Antilles (Wedge) has also been cast as General Rieekan and some Royal Guards. Opium (Chewbacca), emilsson (Gonk) and Princess HAL9000 (Obi-Wan) have been busy with voice coaching. Aakim Orates (Luke Skywalker) has refused to participate claiming, "I really don't need a dialect coach considering the closest thing I have to an accent in the trilogy is when i have to do that girlish whine while saying "but i was going to go to tosche station to pick up some poooower converters!"" Nathindahlin (Max Rebo) has been taking music lessons to prepare for the role. The big problem right now is Bib Fortuna, Twi'lek (bump head stormtrooper). He is having difficulty running into the door the right way, despite extensive coaching. And he claims his head hurts and that the stormtrooper helmets are defective.
