OT: Robert McCammon

A great writer.

I was first introduced to him when I picked up The Wolf's Hour at a used book sale. Part Indiana Jones, part James Bond, it was sexy and violent as hell, a great adventure story with something of a heart.

Next I picked up his last book (written early 90s), Gone South. A strange, quirky, and yet absolutely enthralling picaresque.

After that I moved onto Swan Song, his own take on the post-apocalyptic earth. Not very realistic, but scary as hell.

And now I'm reading what's widely considered his best book, his second-to-last, Boy's Life, and it's wonderful.

Has anyone else read any of this guy's books?
