So the Sneak is now strength 7? Unless you have another Drums In The Deep in your hand, you've wasted that card. Aragorn is strength 8.

    I pass.

Regroup phase. You even up your hand to eight cards - discard one first if you wish.

I'm feeling lucky, so I move on to site 5. Put your site 5 on the table. I'm going to make a safe guess and say the next site is Bridge of Khazad-Dum. (spelling?) Did I get it right? I'll let you in on a secret, there's currently only one site 5 in the game.
    :)

There's 7 in the pool already.
Bridge of Khazad-Dum's twilight number is 6.
    I still have 5 companions.

That gives you a total of 18 in the twilight pool. That's a lot, but there are no minions following me, and you haven't played a lot of cards from your hand, so I think I'm going to survive.

We go back to the Shadow phase: your action.

Maybe we can play a 3 player game after this one :)

Ok, sorry I took so long, something called school got in the way :(

Ok, I even up, and yes you were right about the next location :p

I deploy Moria Scout (2) (spotting your elf to add (2) (forgot his name)) and Goblin Marskman (3), I'll deploy Goblin Scimitar on the scout (0) allowing me to draw a card. I deploy Goblin Runner (1) adding (2) for it's GT. I deploy Goblin Domain (one hit kill for all companions you put in now [face_devil])

Oooh, new icon for Anonymous... nice!

I don't think it will matter, but you can't spot an elf in my fellowship. I have a Dwarf (Gimli) a Man (Aragorn) and two Hobbits (Frodo and Pippin) -- and whatever Gandalf is! <grin> No Elf.

Okay, Maneuver phase: I exert Albert Dreary to discard Goblin Domain.

Game text -- Maneuver: Exert Albert Dreary to discard a [Saruman] or [Moria] condition.

Personal strategy note: this is what I like about Gandalf's culture, lots of cards that discard conditions, peek at your hand, etc.

It's still Maneuver phase, your action.

If you pass, we go to the Archery phase, and my first action in the Archery phase will be to pass.

    Lol :p

Oh well, and no it won't matter at this point, could of swarn you put out a elf.

Bah, discarding my only good card.... "How rude." :p

I pass for both, my archer total is 1

I put one archery wound on Pippin.

    Assignment Phase:

    I pass.

If you pass too, I assign my companions this way:

Gandalf on the Scout with the Scimitar
    Aragorn on the Runner

I have some bad new to report, my cards were mixed together by my mother while straightining up my bed

Only good thing from this is, now I can get some more cards and stick them in my deck for another game (hopefully a multiplayer game.)

No problem. I think we accomplished our goal: to show how the game is played.

    So who's up for a multi-player game? :)

    Okay, that's 3.

Anyone else out there want to get in on this? If we don't play a full game -- and I expect we'll probably only get two or three turns per player -- all you need is a starter deck. If you want to try it before you buy it, you can download the starter deck in PDF format from Decipher's web site.
