I just found out that this forum even existed about 5 days ago.

Anyway I was wondering, if anyone, who goes to UVSC?

I do, and I am starting to work on a new project. It will have 3D objects and characters, as well as lightsabers. But it is not a fan film or Star Wars related. I'll be doing most of the effects myself but I wouldn't mind some help or input from someone else.

I'm taking 18 credit hours, and working 2 part time jobs at the same time, and still expect to get better than a 3.5 G.P.A. Now tell me again I'm not stupid.

I understand insanity, though. Kinda. After all, I do take 3 credit hours at BYU...

...And 4 AP classes. And 5 other high school classes. And work.

We're both insane. Or dumb.

 

Ya'll are going to totally be stressed out when finals come around, unless you are ahead on everything (or know how NOT to procrastinate), or you expect to have zero social life and can accept that.

I'm so glad I'm only taking 9 credits this semester.

And to make matters worse, I got real sick and missed 3 weeks of school, so it'll be a real pain getting back. And I expect at least a 3.6 gpa.

Oh, well. Such is life.

Ok, now that I've finally got a spare moment I can reply to your question.

The more I've been working on the script and the whole concept of the thing I've found that the movie WILL be Star Warsish but it is not centered around it. The plot will have Star Wars characters helping the main characters but they are not the focus.

Anyway, I need people who know 3ds Max. I've bought it but I'm still learning. Anyone who can do mouths really well would be greatly appreciated. I will be doing most of the effects as far as just 2D graphics but in the 3D area, I need all the help I can get. So far the cast and crew consists of myself and a friend.

If you know how to do good 3D characters, then send me a PM and I'll get the script and what I need to you later.

 

I work as the Lab Assistant for 3DS Max at UVSC. I'm in room CS 711 from 2pm to 5pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.

I'm paid to be there so you might as well use me.
