ON Ottawa Meeting; Star Wars playing one night only in August...

you game? Its August 11th off Bank Street. They 'uniqueness' factor is doubled that this is a film festival that plays every Saturday, and it just so happens that August 11th they will be showing Star Wars (ANH I believe) Outside. That's right, its set up outside, so bring lawnchairs, coolers, costumes, etc.

Wow.......I'm working on something like that in the Niagara Region too. My hope is to have all the movies released for a charity weekend sometime soon.

Hmm, website has nothing, you're right...I remember its corner of Bank and Slater (Up near Laurier, Parliament, etc). Its outdoors, its on the 11th...I'll see if I can dig up anything else!

 

I'm planning to be in Ottawa for the 11th partly because of this so I hope it works out.

Does Lucas know about this? I find it highly unlikely he would approve any public showing of STAR WARS for free.
