It is probably already old news, but Bill (ObeyWann), the South West's RSA and the Rocky Mountain Fan Force's former City Rep is heading down your way.

I have had the pleasure of meeting him and spending the past year or so in his company. He is truely a great guy and his SW spirit is unsurpassed.

Thanks Faceplant! We're looking forward to having him here. I loved meeting him when he came down a few weeks ago. It's kind of a mixed emotion thing, isn't it? I'm thrilled he's coming down here, but at the same time, I know you guys will miss him a lot. We promise we'll take good care of him for ya.

Dave, thank you for the kind thread. I feel truly honored to have worked with all of the folks in Colorado, and now I'm looking forward to getting involved with the PHX group.

We made it in on Thurs, unloaded the truck Fri, and got settled in today. I might even have a job on Monday. //crosses fingers//

At any rate, I'll say that SW fans are the best!!!!

dont tell the denver bunch but I too might be moving down that way. I been on the mama for two years as to why we should move down to AZ and finaly a lady at work told her that houses are cheap out there so now shes ready to pack up the dogs and go.

 

LOL!! Actually, it's true! Compared to the housing markets in CO, UT and CA, Arizona is cheap!! The house I'm in is small (1300 sq ft), but the price was right - $106,000. In UT, this same house would be close to $200,000.

Besides, the more SW fanatics, the merrier! Come on down!!

Good news, everyone!!! I got a job as a Project Coordinator (just below a Project Manager) at Dry Utilities today! Wooohooo! I start Wednesday! $18/hr, too! I'm a happy camper.



Now I'm not homeless and jobless. And this isn't even a April Fool's joke!

Thanks! I'm very happy. I'm going to read the employee handbook tonight, and even get up early tomorrow. (before 10AM)



The only downside to this job thing is that I have to get up at respectable hours like normal people. But the good news is that I'll be able to get my RFT costume and my other costumes done sooner.

 

I'm going to be jobless soon. Any other openings there ???

Its a very small company (6 or 7 people). I don't think they're looking for more yet (but may in about 6 months), but I can check.
