    I am sitting here with a complete idiot. He has been calling me a Weckie all night (not Treckie.) I know this is complete rubbish. However I would like to know what exactly we are called? Could someone clarify this for me? Am I just being dense and not seeing something obvious? Views please.

    No, I didn't mean as a group. I know we are FFIK:M, but I ment as Star Wars fans. Like Star Trek fans are Treckies and Dr Who fans are Whovians. What is the name for a Star Wars fan?

    That doesn't really help, seeing as my cousin still consistantly refers to me as a "Weckie" I doubt he will call me a supreme being, etc.

    This is something I have always wondered about

    There are Whovians and Trekkies, but yet we are the biggest fanbase of the lot and we have no title

    Very odd [face_thinking]

    A while back when I was in high school in anb RE lesson this guy came in to do a talk and was asking around the Class as a kinda game 'is *name* dead or alive'?

    He then asked ' is the guy who played captin Kirk dead or alive?' everyone turned to me thinking that I was a Trekky. the guest then said to me " so I'm guessing by everyones reaction that you are a trekkie.." . the girl net to me replied "No, He's a warsie"

    WARSIE!!?! :eek::(:eek:

    Yeah that's what I mean. We havn't got an official title and so therefore, people think that gives them free licence to give us some god awful name like Warsie or Weckie etc. It seems pretty pointless but thatkind of thing really irritates me. Then again, most things irritate me.
