YAY! Nathan Butler ("historian of the Star Wars Timeline Gold", and author of a story in Star Wars Tales Issue 21) wants us to hook up with him to join the Star Wars Fan Works, the grouping that SW Action News is in!!! YAY!!

 

Say whaaaaa? Who is this guy, and how did he hear about us? He wants us to join what? Please explain and provide links, so I can look into it, and add stuff to the site if I need to.

BTW, we have had 32 downloads of Episode 1, and according to feedburner, we have 4 subscribers. And podcast alley should be listing us soon. And we are live on itunes as of 4pm yesterday.

And I guess we need to come up with a logo. Start thinking of some ideas.

You guys ever look into BlogTalkRadio.com? It allows live "webcasting" that can be later downloaded for podcasting service. You schedule a time for your show and then can even take callers live on the air/web.

Just an idea to help expand your podcasting.

I loved the podcast, but I think it had some technical issues. Some of the voices were way too quiet and a few others were a bit loud. Other then that, though, I thought this was great.

 

That's because Matt needs to fix his Mic!! LOL! We know we have a bunch of issues, which we are going to try to fix when we do our next one (hopefully this weekend, possibly shortly after).

 

I'm working on the tech issues. I have found a way to control the level of all the mics, so we all sound the same. Amazing what a google seach can do.... And we will edit the next one a little tighter, to make it flow a little better.

But in the meantime, I have come up with a work in progresss logo. What do you guys think?

I like it, but you need red fading lines flowing out behind it, to make it kind of look like the superman logo as it flies across the screen.

I like the logo, but I do like the idea of the swooping lines behind the name. As for my mike? I had the thing practically in my mouth as it was!! Guess I just need to talk louder next time.

 

Matt, you shouldn't have to talk loud next time. I've figured out a couple diffrent things. FIrst off, I think the fact that 2 mics were connected right to the motherboard on the back of the computer, and 2 on front, might have limited the input from teh 2 on front. And yours and mine were those 2.
Second, I have found how to limit the mic levels so they are all the same. So hopefully, this weeks episode will sound better.

BTW, have we set a time for the next one? I would say Sunday around 2-3?

 

Since we were moving me today, we changed this to Monday night at 8. It should seriously take less than an hour (and if we can meet a little before 8, like 7:50, we can get stuff started that much sooner!). I think this one may be quite interesting!
