FF:QLD Our Post Count?

Does anybody have any clue how and why our post count dropped? It was up to 10,400 or so and now it's below 9,500. Curious to the max I am. Come to think of it I noticed that a few pages from the top bar have been deleted. Did have 13 or so, now 9 boo hoo!

 

You might have lost some threads due to the auto prunning that happens. There are certain criteria that relate to number of posts and how old it is before Snowboards deletes them.

 

Yeah, I'd say that is what happened. Not that it really matters anyway, quantity matters not, whereas quality does.

 

Yeah, I thought that might be the reason, however because of that we now have a bit of catching up to do to get back to 10,000 again. All that effort wasted, oh woe is me <swoons>

I'm at my best and my worst when there is a schedule - most of my inanity comes from the crap you lot serve up, therefore, I can't dish it up unless someone else is here to antagonise me.

 

Sounds like some insidious plan from the nether-regions of the country - NSW didn't seem to lose anything....

 

Oh they did, looking at the maths of the situation. I would say that we were posting fairly heavily in those early threads, where as NSW were not. Just a theory you understand, have nothing to back that up, not anymore anyway.

 

That's my guess, too. They lost stuff, just not as much as what we did.

 

Have you checked your personal tally? I was fairly sure I had more than 363 posts! Will I never get a gold star?

 

Yeah I checked that, I don't seem to have lost any, of course I'm not totally sure of how many I had.

 

I don't think I've lost any, but once you lose posts in the thousands, a couple of dozen don't matter too much.

 

Not unless it's a couple dozen thousand you don't.

Maybe your post count depends on quality posts? On second thoughts maybe not or you wouldn't have a post count at all!!!
