I promise gunny I will have the post up to the "uber storyline " up sometime next week
Sounds good to me. Maybe he Taab can be a consultant, if Bothan Man can afford his fee.
Perhaps a coupon to Mercs-R-Us would suffice?
And things will only get crazier, I can promise you all that. This is just the beginning.
This is going to be an awesome and unforgettable season. I think I am almost going to feel bad for whoever ends up winning the Cup, because the championship will be an afterthought to all this.
You know, it's too bad stuff like this doesn't happen in RL sports.
Check that . . . maybe it's better off not happening.
But how will Gark win the Zumtak if he has a SECRET identity as a crimefighter? That's right, I just poked a hole in your plot. And Sydney is now in the running for the award thanks to his commitment and dedication to the sport of limmie...by suing the pants off anybody who looks the wrong way at a member of the Miners.
You know when I was reading that post I couldn't help but think of this...
Super heroes and sports. Such a natural combination.
Also, I still don't know what shwarma is but I want to try it.
An attorney winning the Zumtak is like a punter winning the Heisman Trophy. It shouldn't happen.
My wife is a lawyer, and I agree with this.
Punter's have important roles to play, too!
For some reason I really dig the realism of the most recent Lucie post about cheerleader tryouts and the fact that all the unattractive ones were just automatically weeded out at the start. I'm sure that's the way it actually goes down in sports. I just loved that detail
I wanted pictures.
That's the way things go in RL too . . .
Honestly I have no idea how cheerleader try-outs work. Glad my stab in the dark worked so well for you.
EDIT: And I thought seriously about cutting the overweight candidates as well, but for some species I suppose overweight is attractive. In RL I am not thin enough to be cheerleader material.
Hello, all. I enjoyed it here so much, I can't stay away! While looking over the thread, I just had to say a couple things...
1) I saw some of the Chiefs are on the Mercs. Awesome!
2) Hooray for the Mighty Ducks cartoon! As bad as it was, it was Disney animation and about hockey (two things I love). I couldn't help but watch it back then.
3) And on a side note: the NHL is back!
I always thought the Hansons would fit right in on the Mercs, now I get the chance to really find out.
Whipids in particular I believe like the heavyset. I wouldn't be surprised if Herglics do as well.
Then again, I've always liked cute over attractive. They're radically different things. Like, attractive:
And yes, I'm trying to figure out how to get Emilie de Ravin into this game somehow. Especially with her Australian accent.
Friendly scores on their way.
Well there goes one my candidates for Maggie Adams
I think our game has devolved into a beauty pageant.
I blame Trieste, he brought in Emma Stone.
Actually, I've never shown you what Bree Tarth looks like.
And that's probably one of her better looking pictures.
Wonder if a few too many Hanson penalties cost the Mercs that game.
I'm thinking with that score, Corrie Andersen didn't resolve her contract before the C-Bucs game.
Our Galactic Cup Semifinalist losers came to play with chips on their shoulders. I'm think Staweh Tam-Ford had a pretty solid game, and Singus clearly did.
Yeah, not easy to come back after a lost season, is it, Meredith?
Well Gark didn't lose a step, did he?
Zeke definitely has something to prove after narrowly missing out on that MVP award, doesn't he?
If previous seasons are anything to go by, most of us are going to suck this next season.
Naw, the Monarchs always play with a chip on their shoulder and will until they win at least one playoff game if not the Cup.
Speaking of shoulders, because of his Staweh-Tam Ford was not even in the game.
Even if we all suck against Premier League teams, the upside is that somebody's got to win when we play each other.
Working on the 272 schedule right now as I watch hockey, btw.
