That's why you always save your work.
You know, usually I do save my work, but tonight, I figured that I would just type it into the boards here and save myself the headache. Oops, lesson learned!
Don't worry Liam. I saved a copy before the cat got to it.
Also, JediMaster_1977 I will be writing a post about the pregame experience of Bakura Gardens since I haven't done it since you joined the game and I think it's a sight to behold. Even though you don't play me at home, it'll probably be interesting to Runjedirun as well. So you might want to wait on your pregame post for me before then, JM in case you want to use that.
What, the Miners have home games?
They get to play on manda'yaim this year. I have special plans for that game.
Oh that's right we don't! Never mind that Coruscant trip to Bakura on the schedule. We'll be okay. I mean, it's not like if you guys didn't show up that we'd win by forefeit.
I have special plans for that game.
Hey Bardan_Jusik remember that Kor'le-for-Glencross trade we halfheartedly kicked the tires on some time ago? Ever wonder what that would have looked like for you? I'm betting something like this.
Yeah, I know, I just totally changed TCW for you.
shab that is a good teaser. I really want to see Glencross in beskar'gam now...
what is worse is I have a Katan on the team and knowing now that he is
possibly related to that scum Satine
is too much for me to bear.
I do intend on using that image later for a future Mercs player though.
And by scum you mean Alana's all time favorite Mando?
Yeah that's the one.
Yeah, that'll go over well.
Alana Glencross + Mandalorian contingency plan = mindblowing awesomeness
An interesting observation this week: we had four bonus roll teams who were the home team. Three of them faced off against regular roll teams (only Ralltiir and Nar Shaddaa were bonus roll teams facing each other). Therefore, I think it's interesting to look at the outcome of these games to determine whether they brought any home field advantage to their week 2 games.
Euceron vs. Coruscant: The Senators needed the bonus roll edge to win this week, but didn't get it.
Ralltiir vs. Nar Shaddaa: The Starkillers made full use of their bonus roll to get a win on the road in a tough place to win while it didn't do much help for Nar Shaddaa.
Ryloth vs. Bakura: The Miners needed the bonus roll edge to win, and got it.
Vandelhelm vs. Mando'ade: The Mercs got the bonus roll edge when they totally didn't need it, but hey--the Jets got stomped so I think we all go home happy on this one.
So a 50/50 split among those home teams, plus Ralltiir's win on the road makes me tip the scales in saying the bonus roll was important.
Well this season is in the toilet
Win out for the remainder of the season and you're 5-2 and you get the top seed in the Skywalker Conference for the playoffs. Trust me--this ain't over yet!
But, since we're on the topic...I seem to recall certain statements made about the outcome of this Ryloth/Bakura game some time ago...
I was just too lazy to get a post in this week
Ditto. But hey: it seems to have paid off with a win!
Seriously, another nonconference loss? This is ridiculous.
I'm happy with the week 2 results
You should be, Runner. Great game, kicked the crap out of my team, I'm not going to defend their sorry performance at home.
A well deserved victory and welcome to the ELL
So, the question is: Is Meredith Chambers slowing down?
Film at 11!
Well this sets up one heck of a match between the Miners and Mercs in week three...
Well, Bardan, you got your wish. You can still go 2-5 now and not feel as bad.
