OOC Out of Bounds (The ELL OOC Thread)

This is just like RL for me I only pay attention to the pros. College and D leagues I don't have time for. Do what you like.

 

This thread stopped giving me alerts, AWESOME. Thanks for the tag otherwise I'd never have noticed.

I don't care, once I'm out of the GCLA, honestly. Until then I care about my team's scores but outside of that I don't care one way or another.

 

Just keeping a running count: That gives us two definitive "yes" votes and four "meh"s, with none actually against.

When you make the Elite League, you can have the option to pick up a development affiliate (basically a minor league team), if you wish. You can call talent up from this team during the season if you want to switch up your lineup.

I would go in the "meh" category. It doesn't hurt anything, but I'm not using the PLL for anything. If we keep running the PLL, the GCLA would remain as my way to work teams back into the mix.

 

We should rename the PLL the Developmental Limmie League (DLL)

 

But its more than just a d-league for teams that aren't affiliated with an ELL squad.

Yeah but that's all we use it for. Put all the "developmental teams" in the DLL, and all the other minor league teams the PLL.

 

Like the NBA D-League or MLB's minor league system?

I leave it up to you. I do think that Zeke probably has enough going on right now in his life that you don't have to do so.

And let's see...a development league...it's an idea. Officially codifying the relationship. We'd have Balmorra, Druckenwell, Thyferra, Shili, Denon (Onderon's development affiliate I think?), and who else?

Next week end I will have the scores for the entire 272 PLL season. I will then run the Premiership scores in the weeks following. My only question is where do you want me to post them? If I do them in the wiki they will not be as neat as in seasons past.

I'm sorry that for the past two seasons I have not been able to keep up and do scores on a weekly basis. I am now stepping away from it because I have had (and will be having) RL changes to my personal schedule.

 

Real life always comes first CPL, thanks for looking after this for the past couple of seasons.

 

My thought on a development league: most teams in these situations are affiliates of the big club, not owned by, so we could definitely have a mix of club-owned and independent affiliate clubs in one league (think NBA D-League).

 

I'd be open to a D-League. Call it the Futures League, maybe? Then we can merge the GCLA into the rest of the PLL. I like this idea.

 

How about the ELL D-League? Be all original in the naming.

And I cannot believe that just happened, CPL_Macja. Too awesome and funny! When I saw the M jersey I thought, "Now all we need is that big sign they run out under...oh there it is--wait it's for me?" Classic!

 

Just when you think we can't take this game to another level . . . we do.

And I just barely slip into the playoffs. But at least my streak of nonconference losses is over!
